The recent Islamic Phalgam Attack has exposed to me the deep rooted pseudo feminism and wokeness in my immediate circle. I was disgusted to my core seeing the blatant avoidance of mentioning the term 'Islamic' by them. This Euro-American infection is very much deeply rooted inside Indian colleges in Tier 1 cities. I knew it was bad but would've never guessed this.

In my personal opinion women do not take a lot of interest in security and defence related matters as a result their awareness of the actual enemies of the country is very very low.everyone knows pakistan is the enemy but they don't know how they have bled india with a thousand cuts.This may sound sexist but look at discussion topics dominated by women i.e bollywood gossips,kpop and stuff that has little or nothing to do with ground realities of the country,how do we expect them to have any kind of shatrubhod? The irony is that their personal safety is at the highest risk because practically without indian men they are defenseless. It's like a deer having no idea that foxes are on the hunt for them.

Feminism is a western movement and has nothing to do with us in the first place.
Most of the feminist points dont apply to us - remember, OUR WOMEN never had to fight to get proeprty rights - they didnt need a male guardian's signature to open bank accounts as late as 1970 even as adult women, like you did in usa, uk, canada etc.
Our women dont suffer rape epidemic of the west, which has 20x higher per capita rape rate than India or any other asian nation (except SoKo, who match western rape rate).

People dont realize this, but dowry system amongst commoners started en-masse WITH the british - because property, especially in eastern and southern india - was mostly passed matrilineally ( this is why the phrase 'mamar bari peyecho'( you think this is your mama's house ?' is a thing in Bengali and several eastern indian languages - your mama had to go earn his wealth/make a new house coz YOUR MOM got the grandpa's house, hence 'party at mama's house! wheee' was a thing back in the time.
Dowry system in commoners simply came around as a means to circumvent the british property laws that forbids women from inheriting property.

So my question is - what the foc are we doing cut-pasting a western movement that is inapplicable in India ? i have no problems if desi feminism exists to address desi female issues - shit like pressure to abort girls, saas-bahu oppressions, dehati attitude towards widows marrying or menstruation, etc.
But that is not Indian feminism, Indian feminism is vacuous cut-paste of western feminist ideology, so its a form of western imperialism.

I'll try, doubt he'll listen. This is a well educated guy who is convinced he has life figured out and only he can look through "propaganda" and understand the big picture. The truth of things if you will. I can warn him to domesticate his girl, but I can't do anything about his liberal wokeism.
