Because when you don't plan on doing anything substantial, you'll need to atleast show something to allay public anger.

Would be bad if it was the PM after what he said in Bihar. He is simply the highest ranking that they can spare for this.

J&K is a union territory, it has a lt. governor, it comes under home ministry, amit shah is minister of home affairs of India.

If you look that video, the dams were still standing and only fire is going on the top and side of the Dam. Meanwhile for unknown reason Paki pilots flew their planes into Fire, some of them crashing into it, some of them just flying to random direction.

The claim that Adil died while saving tourists could not be confirmed, not a single eye witness. No tourist saw him snatching a rifle or fighting.

Number 1 reason, the --POJK-- region (POJ), is the major launchpad of Terrorists. Pakistan hold some Peaks and directing them into India. By Salami Slicing into this region we can hold them effectively by sitting on Higher ridges, further protecting the NH44. Also Intruding further will create an major fear since Slumbad, Randipindi will come under direct fire by Armed forces. Intruding into POK (Gilgit-Baltistan) is to further gain the land what is ours, Pakistan have only Skardu and it it comes under direct Pinaka, Artillery fire, they will face more trouble.

Meanwhile Sindh borders an vast Desert and Sir Creek. It is useless since Terrorist were not coming from there. Just hold there and let Army do the job in North.

The one border I will close is Nepal border.

Whats the point of going inside pok when there are snakes inside kashmir we will not be able to hold both for long if we didnt adress the kashmir first.
We need to cleanse kashmir from these piglets push them into pok or give a bullet in head and only then we should think about pok otherwise sustaining military in whole kashmir with locals against you will be a problem

Dont expect a direct military engagement with army it will be from sea and air thorough indirect approach and will take time.
