This is likely routine discharge of water, the only difference might be that there's no intimation to Pakistan. IWT had protocols through which both countries shared data, now since IWT is suspended, the protocols are suspended as well.

IWT scrapping is an extremely big thing, but it has no immediate impact. In future, we can leverage it to get anything we want. A leverage for all time to come. Just hope some stupid large hearted politician does not squander it away.
