In the aftermath of the brutal #PahalgamTerrorAttack in India — where 28 Hindus were cold-bloodedly murdered by Islamist terrorists — the social media landscape has fractured along predictable lines:
1. Pakistani accounts, pro-#Hamas voices, and other radical #Islamist groups are aggressively pushing the despicable but familiar "false flag" narrative. This follows the same playbook as conspiracy theories like "9/11 was an inside job by Jews," #Donetsk bombed itself," and "Israel self-inflicted October 7."
2. #Khalistan cult members, usually operating under Pakistani influence, are dutifully carrying this narrative into Canada, the U.S., and the U.K., acting as downstream amplifiers.
3. Segments of the "woke Left" are uncritically boosting this falsehood, either out of ideological blindness or reflexive anti-India bias.
4. Elements of the "groyper Christian-Right" are also picking up this narrative. Despite their awareness of the dangers posed by radical Islam, many see attacking Hindus and India as an easy way to satisfy their egos and court outrage.
5. Chinese proxy accounts are further magnifying the chaos by promoting both the woke Left and far-Right versions of the narrative, using the disinformation to serve their broader geopolitical interests.
The pro-Hindu (and by extension, pro-India) social media response to the #PahalgamTerrorAttackis being driven by five major groups:
1. Global Leaders and Their Ecosystems
Both pro-West and pro-Russia (#BRICS) leaders, along with their networks in think tanks, business sectors, and non-legacy media, have voiced support. While some pro-Russian accounts are more cautious—due to their ideological overlaps with pro-Chinese and pro-Palestinian narratives—they have largely stood by Hindus, thanks to a more mature understanding of global geopolitics.
2. Pro-Jewish Voices
Pro-Jewish accounts see radical Islam as an existential threat not just to Israel, but to civilization at large. This shared perception has forged a natural alignment with Hindus in the aftermath of Pulwama.
3. European Nationalists
European conservatives, deeply aware of the demographic and security threats posed by unchecked Islamism in Europe—and frustrated by the global Left's inaction—view India as a vital civilizational bulwark. Their support for Hindus stems from a recognition of shared stakes in a broader civilizational battle.
4. Indians and the Global Hindutva Community
As the direct victims of the #PahalgamTerrorAttack, Indians and the global Hindu diaspora have responded with justified passion, grief, and calls for justice.
5. Ex-Muslims and Liberal Muslims
This group has emerged as one of the most powerful and credible allies of Hindus and India. Their personal journeys, lived experiences, and deep understanding of Islamist ideologies make them indispensable voices in the fight against jihadist extremism.
