It would be in Indias interest to destroy pakistani offensive capabilities in at least one of its military arm (Navy>Air Force>Army).
Pak Navy is the easiest to pick out now but we can't guarantee the same in a decade once they have their new ships arrive from China and Turkey. They won't eclipse us all of a sudden but definitely more of a headache then they are currently are.
Taking out the Navy will give us the additional advantage of controlling their coasts and entry of ships, their Air Force will be stretched thin to compensate for security at the coast.

Pak Should not be allowed to have a Navy ever again.

Must be !
But have we?

For all it's worth the involvement of Pakistani army is only recognized by Indian jingo crowd.
Even our diplomats refer to sponsors of terrorist as Pakistan establishment, Pakistan government, Pakistan state.

No one in the government from our side had ever mentioned Pak military as sponsor or enablers thus keeping target off their back.

A red line we haven't crossed since Kargil.

Don't get disappointed when the target of operation isn't Pak military.
Why should we mention Pak Mlitary? Why should we get into "oh Civilian good..just helpless..Military bad". Militar + Government + Opposition is Pakistani establishment/state. From Indian perspective they are all guilty. Even the "Pak people are generally peaceful" homilies should be used to make look like we are good guys.

Picking some idiots and branding entire South Indian Hindus is like calling all the North Indians as illiterate Biharis or unclutured BIMARUS.
South Indian Hindus are more based than so called North Indians fighting Muslims. Remember that during Babri masjid demolition the most number of kar sevaks were from AP TN and KA that is from south India. We keep Muslims under check hence they won’t do shenanigans like north India Muslims every now and then.

Modi had Mann Ki Baat this morning. Spoke in relaxed monotonous voice with no passion, the same words like the Bihar and twitter speech. Spoke for a few minutes about Pahalgam and moved onto other useless stuff.

Any strikes I feel will be just for PR management again, no strategic or deterrence value. The leaders don't simply have a stomach for fight. They will focus on economic growth while Pakistan comes and slaughters us at will.

he said retaliation
but our experts have already decided and concluded there won't be any.

I am now in dilemma whether to believe you or Modi.

I wonder how they can afford those 8 chinese submarines 4 chinese frigates 4 turkish frigates and some small frigates made by romania in such a time when they are bankrupt since a decade.
GEtting 8 chinese subs is beyond beleivable.
Who gives them money and why?? Chinese and turkish shipbuilders wont make anything for free.
Khairaat.

Targeting the navy will be the biggest escalation we have done since kargil.
It would be sure to spiral into a war. No nation is going to sit back and watch as their sailors drown and die.
Balakot, Uri and all were directed towards terrorists camps and no Pak army personnel were directly harmed. We have been playing this game since kargil.

Hence why I doubt any attack will directly involved Pak armed forces personnel. Unless Mudi wants to make a new norm.
It's a gamble. We go after the PN meaning we identify their capital ships ( incl subs) & take them out in one fell swoop meaning all the action happens simultaneously as we can't afford to stretch it beyond a day for then the element of surprise is lost.

Will the Paxtanis retaliate & if so in what form? They can't target the IN with the PN or the remnants of it if we've taken out a significant number of their assets or even otherwise given the disparity in the size of both our navies.

They could target the IN with the PAF & coastal battery units though I'm not sure if their coastal battery units are equipped with sophisticated AshMs. The former isn't easy as both the air assets of the IN & the IAF come into play.

Alternatively they target one of the IAF or IA based or they could hit one of our industrial centres. In case of the former , that's what we need to wargame against for I've advocated taking out significant assets of the PAF too which means we should be springing a trap anywhere along the western sector especially Kashmir.

This can't be achieved in one strike unlike the PN. We'd have to engage in multiple strikes to do so. I'm betting the overall advantage we enjoy vide networking , the induction of the S-400 ADS , Rafales , etc would prove decisive.

The idea is to degrade their war fighting machinery. If we take out the PN & PAF that still leaves the PA intact . That should reassure the latter . After achieving our objective we call a CF. However if they can't get a suitable target once we take out the PN & things don't exactly go to a plan w.r.t us taking out the PAF or they target some industrial centre like Jamnagar , all bets are off.

Either way you're looking at major escalation. Unless Fauji Foundation is willing to sacrifice Hapig or Nosood for I'm Muslim Azhar & leave them unsecured leaking information about their whereabouts which we can't rule out for this is Fauji Foundation we're talking about for whom no sacrifice is too great if it helps preserve their arses . Hence the psyops of the massive exercises we're undertaking .

So now the expectation/demands of "Viraats" have moved on from words to tone. I guess he should have done Mann Ki Baat like a raving maniac ...I keep getting visuals of Modi acting like Shahbaz knocking down his mike or like the evil Chaplin from "The Great Dictator".

As much as I hate cucks on the left, those on right aren't exactly painting themselves in glory

Exactly it's like the perfect opportunity to show the people of india that he is what he say he is
I will still stand behind Modiji. He has earned a lifelong loyalty. If he decides to not go for permanent solution its not about his determination. Its about our spoiled fat import bhadur lobby that may have let him and us down. We the electorate let him down with 240 seats. Our bueraucrats are letting him down with unnecessary paper pushing. Our judiciary is poking its nose everywhere and here the ones who claim to support him are bashing him.

Some shameless guy you are.
