PC Builds, Electronics and Home Appliances Thread

All right PC guys - If Blender like applications are to be run and as told some video editing software, along with running MidJourney/Chatgpt locally.

Can you tell me for 32GB RAM, 4070TI Nvidia, what motherboard (with built in WiFi (Dual )), What Good Processor , What cooling , What Case, What fans I can use. I am getting super confused on pcpricetracker.
Is liquid coooling good or air cooling could work. Is it for CPU, whole case or just for graphics card.

I am noob. Note PC can be used for gaming too - esp distant related kids who occasionally come in and might want to hook oculus ripoff kind of oculus kind of stuff

PLease answer as if I am total noob and guide me accordingly. I will not understand shorthands. Last PC build I had seen of my friend was with Pentium 3/4

Budget again 50-60. But can strtech if convincing but wont spend 90+
For processor get amd ryzen 7600x
Any b650 mobo will work like msi bomber wifi b650, even if mobo doesn't have wifi you can buy USB wifi adapter for rs100 or if you want faster internet just connect your wifi to pc using ethernet cable its faster that's what most people do
Air cooling is fine some of the good air coolers outperforms liquid cooler 4070tis are mostly air cooled no other parts except cpu and GPU need any cooling case fans are needed to push hot air out of the case and bring new in for cpu colling get deepcool ak400 it's more than fine.

For case fans get antec p12, if you like rgb get deepcool cf120.
For psu msi mag 750bn or mwe 750 bronze will work

. Case does not add anything to performance get anything you like just check it's length and gpus length make sure they fit 4070tis from different brands have different dimensions msi mag 120a should fit any 4070ti.

Idk how you goona fit 4070ti in 90k budget it's impossible such a built will easily cross 1.2 lakh mark

If you Wana stick to 90k budget stick to vanilla 4070 and amd ryzen 7600 (non x) and for now stick to 16gb ram(8+8) config buy two more 8gb sticks later on keep everything else same.

All right for performance how much and on what stuff should i stretch? Again pcpricetracker - i am noob, i am even not sure which component to choose over which.
i played and my jaw dropped. And i am not even sure what and why i picked. only two components i knew ram and nividia

Build around a Ryzen 7600 CPU, RX 7600 V2 OC 8GB or a 12 GB RTX 3060 GPU. If you need good cheap cabinet, there is a chinese company Lian Li. Unless you plan to overclock, you don't need liquid cooling. Maintaining good airflow inside the case will be enough. GSKILL Ripzaws DDR5 6000mhz RAM, buy 32gb (dual 16GB sticks if you can). Whether you want a mini ATX or ATX motherboard, is up to you. A B650 chipped board is fine. For PSU a simple Corsair CX 650 is fine. For storage don't be shy on spending on Samsung 980 EVO SSDs.

Yeah mate - I just need few pointers for each components what i should looking for - what price range and what brands. A I said I dont even understand need for two set of RAMS, two set of HDDs, two set of coolers, how many and where the fans are required. WHat motherboard should i go for without getting sucked in for useless stuff.
A serious PC to run an editor like Blender will easily go above a Lac in INR. You basically need more CPU cores, GPU and higher capacity and speed RAM preferably running in Dual channel configuration.
These three alone will cost a bomb, with a decent spec GPU running above 25-30K INR.

Thanks @Corvus Splendens and @darkflame. 3060 also sounds good for controlling budget. I hope it allows all applications I need to run. Rest Darkflame - if I got for PC build then I am going to stick to components you guys listed out without me batting eye lid - as doing extensive research is unfeasible as I have no longer access to esteemed college group of banter and debates on what is good enough configuration of that day. Those days and discussions are long gone :)

I remember when I wanted my first PC I spent 1 month researching and another month scourging market for right price and quality. I had that PC for very long and in the end I gave it away in running good condition to somebody else.

My suggestion when building desktop PC, from personal experience.

Build a good one and it last's you for over a decade.
below is my build for PC in 2015 and it still runs like a beast and all I did was little bit of over-clocking.

Will build a new one in couple of years.

Yeah i mean a laptop with 16" Ryzen9 + 4070 build is casting almost 90+ . I am not even sure if spending something on pc is right. i read some people having difficulties running blender and unreal on laptop with even 4070 esp hp omen series

You need two set of similar spec ram for dual channel operations using single ram stick affect performance. You don't two set of HDDs modern pcs don't use HDDs at all HDDs have only read write speed of 135mb/s where as nvme ssd are size of rs10 diary milk and go into nvme slot on the mobo and use direct lanes from cpu to give mind boggling speed crucial p3 plus which I had recommend earlier to you have a read write speed of 4700mb/s
Needless to say ssd make your pc very fast
You have to put case fans in your case in push pull configuration some fans pulling air in some out, hot air rises up so if the case have roof mount for fans. Mount 2 there to push hot air out for taking cool air in mount some fans in front to pull some fresh air in just it. just mount fans you can configure their profile when your pc boots up using software

I saw on some motherboard if it has 2 or 4 slot for RAM - each slot had different speed. eg, one was 6000 other was less than 6000. Why is that?

Cheaper mobos have 2 slot expensive ones have four amd mobos are cheaper
Slots have similar speeds different speeds are not possible there are two types of speed one which you get out of the box like i5 12400 only supports only upto 4800mhz ddr5 but you can surely overclock to reach 6000mhz if your mobos supports it same for amd.
