Passive Homing Head (PHH)
PHH performs complex function of target detection, direction finding and track generation for each detected target. The system is designed to identify target emitters like surveillance and fire control radars with spectrum of operation from 1-10 GHz and 6-18 GHz. The system comprises of circular array of cavity-backed spiral antennas, RF Front-end, and Digital Instantaneous Frequency Measurement (DIFM) receiver, Common Processor Board (CPB) and Electronic Support Measure (ESM) processor.
The PHH processor measures emitter parameters like Pulse Repetition Frequency (PRF), Amplitude, Time-of-Arrival, direction of arrival of emissions from the detected target and performs de-interleaving and generates emitter tracks of identified targets.
