I understand your sentiments esp coming from a professional soldier pov. But what about common people or non uniformed people or people whose kin got forcibly drafted? As far as I understand eastern europe is you guys have close knit communities similar to asia unlike western europe. So social opinions build fast and last strong. So wanted to know whats the feeling around.

This little misadventure of NATO is over. They have accepted the donkey powered, camel powered, north korean powered Russian Army as their overlord.

Of course, people are tired of the war and absolutely everyone wants peace. But they look at peace as a result differently. Ready to endure until victory - 51% Ready for a truce - almost 3/5. Of these, 1/5 - to rest and continue the war, 2/5 agree to a freeze. However, ready to give up territories with the slogan "take it, just leave me alone" - only 7%.

No. India knows better since we were the receiving end of european imperialism. No surprise that Europe is on Ukraine's side considering that Europe was directly responsible for nazism and imperialism.

He was no professional soldier. Professional soldiers respect the lives of their own country soldiers and also respect the enemy soldiers. Because war is a business of politicians, but it's the soldiers who die.
Show me one post where he pays respect to the Russian fallen. His schizophrenic state of mind is splayed all over this thread and DFI threads. Have a look.

Have you personally entered a brothel and seen that there were only Ukrainian women there? I can tell you similar words from propaganda about Russian women in Turkey.
It is probably because there is no demand for Indian women and just don't say that you all ride on golden elephants and there are no prostitutes in India.

You seem to have a bad history. The first empires did not have overseas colonies. So stop crying about the past. You live TODAY.
And it was not India that defeated Nazism. It was the Anglo-Saxons and the USSR. So it is not your nation to characterize this.

Without Volunteer Indian Armed soldiers in British Army axis powers would have had tough time. French, African and even Italian Alpine battles that got won because of sheer Indian component tenacity. Even Japs faced defeat in attacking India during ww2. Once that volunteer Indian Army refused to corporate INA, Naval revolts Britain had to pack bags.

Over 2.5 million Indian soldiers served. Indian troops were pivotal in the Italian Campaign, notably at Monte Cassino and the Gothic Line, contributing to Allied successes in Italy. Around 87,000 Indian soldiers died in European theatres alone. India’s role extended beyond Europe, with major contributions in North Africa (e.g., against Rommel’s Afrika Korps) and Southeast Asia (e.g., the Burma Campaign), but I primarily focussed European theaters.

You conveniently left out the fact that the British Indian Army was the one that routed Rommel’s forces in North Africa and seized Italy and took Italy from Nazis and was on the frontlines in the Western European theater.

And you are distorting history to fit your false BS narrative.
