What kind of wunderwaffe can Putin unleash here? He can send a Su-57 strike package but when some of them get shot down, there will be more humiliation.

Who is Russia going to hit with nukes? Hitting Ukraine with nukes is not going to deter NATO. The ROE Russia is abiding by is very disadvantageous to Russia. Under this ROE, NATO can effectively fight Russia for years until NATO runs out of Ukrainians.

Russia will have to come up with creative ways of abusing Article-5. There is no other way out.

The 40 jets seem like an exaggeration.
There seems to be visual confirmation of 4-5 jets as per video confirmation.
At the same time the Russian claims of just ‘damaged’ is probably fake as they look destroyed to me, but maybe they could salvage some parts.

Overall have to give it to the Ukrainians for a fantastic operation, on par with the pager thingy by Israel in terms of tactical brilliance.

Strategically while it is a big humiliation for Putin, the actual damage (unless proven otherwise) isn’t as great as claimed.

This will still put him on the back foot and we can expect some big retaliation after todays Turkey negotiations.

Russians and everyone sane was hoping that eventually Ukrainians would learn that NATO (Globalists) is not their friend. At this point, it does not look like, Ukrainians are going to understand anything except FAFO. It is unfortunate but Russians have come to realization that either kill or be killed.

Russian millitary capabilities are overestimated by West, post 2000 their military capabilities has went downhill.
West do this to divert attention of their own population.
Post Soviet era there was no reason to keep nato running, it was solely done as china was week at that time.
