Russian Ukrainian War

Underground explosions can cause enormous damage from the shockwaves. I have a feeling Larry C. Johnson is correct about how much damage the Oreshnik missile did. He did work for the CIA, and he is putting himself out there, so if he's wrong he's going to look very foolish. We will have to wait and see.

I don't know about you, but being from the US, this scares me more than nuclear war. In all seriousness why would Putin be scared of the US?

Biden is trying to pump us up with weapons, because the share of further supplies under Trump is very vague. But we ourselves, in addition to wheeled vehicles, also produce tracked vehicles. This is an armored personnel carrier, which for some reason is called BMP (IFV)-1LB. I thought that similar armored personnel carriers were made from stocks of old Soviet armored tractors MTLB-U, but on the screen there is a new hull with increased height. Here's a mystery, either they made it themselves, or they transferred the drawings to Bulgaria, where they also made MTLB. But this is an indicator that a Russian spy named Elon Musk will not be able to interfere.

What's your current output of artillery shells, 122mm and 300mm rocket production ?

So, I take it he would rather drink Vodka with Putin then these Americans.

6,500 per day, guessing 75% of that is artillery and 25% rockets. Your production needs to be tripled or quadrupled if you want to push the Russians back.
You forget that we have European industry behind us, and I also don't think that the US military-industrial complex just built up its muscles to stop everything at Trump's command. In addition, Indian or Pakistani shells may again unexpectedly appear in Croatian ports.

Russian singer Philipp Kirkorov.
In Russian society, as everywhere else, there are +/- 10% gays and lesbians. It's just that little is said about it, but if Soviet newspapers didn't write about Aeroflot plane crashes, that doesn't mean that Soviet jets didn't crash.

It's been reported that Ukraine received about 200 155mm howitzers and over 3 million 155mm shells. Lets say half have been destroyed. Although the barrel replacement is between 1500 and 2500 rounds fired, this link shows it's closer to 1500. They still have 100 howitzers, if we assume 2 million shells have been fired that means each howitzer fired 20k shells each, which means the barrel needed to be replaced 15 times. That comes out to at least 1500 barrels. It takes time to repair them, and the repairs are done in Poland (although now it might be done in Ukraine) Maybe the west has produced that many, but it seems this is just one more of countless problems facing Ukraine, and might be the main reason for the collapse on most of the frontlines. https://bulgarianmilitary.com/2022/...he-howitzer-barrel-four-times-due-to-overuse/

Even though it's admitted that Russia fire 5 to 10 time more artillery, and this article also claims 80% of the casualties are from artillery, some how Russia is losing more men.
"Today in Ukraine, artillery is responsible for approximately 80 percent of the casualties on both sides. Put in raw numbers, that means that around 400,000 troops on the Ukrainian and Russian sides have been killed or injured by artillery fire. (The latest intelligence estimates put the number of Russian losses to about 320,000 and the Ukrainian losses to around 200,000, for a total of more than 500,000.)" https://www.sandboxx.us/news/artillery-can-win-or-lose-the-war-for-ukraine/

Our main shell is the M107.

This is not a howitzer - it is a shell (projectile).

Okay, so it's a 155mm shell. What is the difference then? It's interesting how greed is working itself in.
"Czech opposition leader Andrej Babiš was among the first to criticize the initiative, accusing arms companies of price gouging and the government of favoritism or corruption in awarding contracts."
A case in point is the procurement of 180,000 units of 155mm M107 artillery shells, funded by Germany. These shells were sold to Ukraine at €3,200 per unit, despite an alternative Turkish supplier offering them for €2,500 per unit. This transaction alone cost Ukraine over $110 million—money that could have purchased up to an additional 40,000 shells."
Gosh, it seems like it's all about money.
