Russian Ukrainian War

What you call nonsense I call reality.

Pokrovsk Defense Has Collapsed

The front collapsed - this is an offensive against Assad's troops, this is the Kharkiv counteroffensive in 2022, this is the Taliban offensive against the Afghan army in 2020, this is Dunkirk in 1940. When there are hundreds of units of captured mil. equipment. If there is no such sign, then you are being deceived.

This is really going to piss off Lindsey Graham. It looks like the US won't be able to steal this lithium mine from Ukraine. "The Russians are also 11km away from Shevchenko lithium deposit, one of the largest in Europe."

Ha-ha. Russians closed all coal mines in their part of Donbass (Rostov region), because they are not profitable compared to Kuzbass. Do you think they will risk competing with China? Lithium is valuable for the "free world", but an electric Lada will not withstand competition with a Chinese Gelly. You have an example: FRG and the GDR. In FRG they drive VWs, and in the GDR they drove Trabants, which did not even accelerate to 100 km/h.

Footage of the attack of the Russian FPV kamikaze drone "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky", controlled via fiber optic cable. In the video, the FPV drone "Vandal" attacks the Ukrainian robotic platform "Lynx", with the installed combat module "Shablya". The ground-based wheeled drone "Lynx" is produced in Ukraine, it is equipped with the combat module "Shablya" with a 7.62 mm PKT machine gun. The unmanned platform "Lynx" can be controlled via cable or via Wi-Fi. The remotely controlled robot "Lynx" is equipped with boxes of ammunition for 250, 450 and 600 rounds. Judging by the video, at the time of the drone strike, the robotic platform "Lynx" was no longer active.

According to some sources there are no N. Korean soldiers in Ukraine or in the Kursk area. It might be a complete lie. We will have to wait and see, but I've seen no real proof that it's true.

I thought there were probably N. Korean troops in Ukraine, but I did have some doubts. I now think it was just some made up bullshit by Ukraine and the west, but I'm not positive about that either. In this thread it seems like the evidence is severely lacking.

Russians and north koreans are not stupid.
They won't send troops to the frontlines, at least not the NoKos yet - who will definitely be spending at least several months to a year in Russia itself, undergoing war gaming and training before being chucked into the meatgrinders.
The Ukrainian battlespace is an unfamiliar battlespace to the NoKo army, who are also unfamiliar with war for well over two generations. They are in the boat Murrica was when murrica declared war in ww2 - sit around and do nothing for months after declaration coz you are training up your troops before u send them to engerlund for D-day massing and some more training.

This is the most effective model for joining a war and while the west may be right in whining that there are NoKo troops in Raashiaa, it would be absurd for them to spread the propaganda that NoKo troops are already fighting in the frontline.

We may see NoKo troops for the spring offensive. Right now, its 100% likely that NoKos re doing winter training, aka how to hold territory and fight low intensity infantry battles in winter conditions.
Because that is what awaits them 1 year from now, if the war drags on.

We've known each other for so long, but you still don't trust me.;):)
Did you see the aircraft factory burning in Taganrog today? Local publics are writing about 4 СМ. Most likely Palyanitsya or Peklo.

This is most likely a correct assumption. The official figures were only the speed and range (700 km/h and 700 km). However, the missile is visually no more than 2.5 meters. This means that the warhead weighs no more than 75 kg. Which is more suitable for the destruction, the video of which is on the Internet. The Palyanitsa and Storm Shadow have 300 and 450 kg. respectively.

Yes I know, Russia takes it on the chin now and then. Other then a moral boast and a headline for the Kyiv independent, these attacks are making no difference. I've said more than a year ago that it didn't matter how much military equipment was sent to Ukraine because they were running out of soldiers. Only in the last month have we seen the west admit this, and that's why they are blackmailing Zelensky to lower the draft age to 18.

I find it very interesting that the west is now saying Ukrainian losses are in the millions. I personally don't think they are that high, and neither does Russia, but who knows?

Not the West. The Biden administration. No other Western partner publicly suggests this. However, the US is the main supplier of weapons and ammunition. But here the emphasis is on the word "supplier". We have more than 3.5 million reservists even without lowering the age limit. But weapons are better than promises.
Regarding Taganrog. Have you noticed how many months the A-50s have not been in the air? This aircraft factory is the only one that services them, and the holes in the fence from shrapnel suggest that the "Russian AWACS" got it pretty bad.

It's easy to predict what the west is planning on as far as the negotiations. I notice they always accuse Russia of exactly what they themselves do or plan to do. For example;

‘Can’t trust Putin’s words’

Glynn says a peace deal would allow Russia to "restore its army to the strength of 2022, which according to Ukrainian estimates it should be able to do by 2028."

This means it could ultimately help Russia launch a renewed assault in the future, though a ceasefire would give Ukrainians a "night off" from the bombing, she added."

The truth is that this is what the west is planning on doing. They will never give up and never honor any peace deal. They will rearm Ukraine again and attack. The west knows Ukraine is finished and the only way to avoid total defeat is to have a peace deal for a few years.

Putin and Russia should never trust the West's words. Under Trump, I do not think Trump will send any more money to Ukraine. He wants more money for his border wall. And the Republicans know that they cannot cross Trump.

I think Putin would do well to keep pushing deeper into Ukraine territory all the way to the Dnieper River and take Kyiv. Forget Odessa. Kyiv is the bigger prize as it is the center of gravity for anti-Russia sentiments. Once you take half of Ukraine and Kyiv, Ukraine is a spent force. And Russia has the space and territory to defend its motherland against any NATO incursions. The only remaining territory to watch out for is the Baltic states.

NATO knows that if they make a move against Kalingrad, the Baltic states are done for good. Russia has to deeply fortify and mine the border between Belarus and Poland and ensure that pro-western forces can never take over Belarus. Putin has to prepare alternatives to Aleksandr Lukashenko and make sure that any successor is pro-Russia and warn of the negative consequences should Belarus turn into pro-West and anti-Russia.

The Russian's might not have to take Odessa by force when they no longer fearful of Ukrainian Nazis.

Ukrainian 30.41%
Russian 64.75%
According to the Seventh Annual Ukrainian Municipal Survey, 96% of the residents of Odesa spoke some Russian at home and 29% spoke some Ukrainian at home (overlap due to a lot of people speaking both languages). Ukrainian is gaining in popularity: in 2021, the share of residents speaking some Ukrainian at home has increased almost 5 times from 6% in 2015 to 29% in 2021

That will change once Kyiv is taken. Western Ukraine will just break up into pieces and be gobbled by Poland and Hungary.

In hindsight, Putin should have never withdrew from Kyiv. He should have poured everything he had into taking Kyiv and keeping it. Because once Kyiv falls, the resistance falls away.

It's difficult to overestimate the importance of odessa it is strategically located on the black sea and it's
1:16:20
ukraine's largest seaport it's not surprising that ukraine's new authorities were watching the situation
1:16:26
unfolding there with growing alarm more and more of odessa's people were
1:16:32
joining the anti-maidon movement at the same time as events in eastern ukraine were heating up
1:16:38
the new ukrainian government didn't have the power to wage war on too many fronts if odessa were to join the growing
1:16:44
uprising in the eastern regions it would seriously complicate the situation
1:16:50
this rebellion had to be extinguished immediately and at any cost and that cost was high
1:16:57
on may 2nd 2014 soccer fans flocked to the center of odessa city for the
1:17:03
ukrainian championship match surprisingly a great number of these fans who descended into odessa just the
1:17:09
night before also turned out to be fighters from the maidan self-defense units along with members of radical
1:17:16
organizations from all parts of ukraine
1:17:24
these fans masked armed and shouting nationalist mottos began disturbances in
1:17:30
the center of the city as they marched to the anti-maidan tent encampment where they attacked
1:17:36
the anti-maidan protesters sought shelter in the trade union house but it was a trap
1:17:42
maidan supporters started throwing molotov cocktails into the building until it was engulfed in flames
1:17:49
people burned to death inside or trying to escape jump from the windows
1:17:55
although a fire station was less than a mile away it took almost half an hour for firefighters to arrive
1:18:02
when they finally did the damage had been done [Music]
1:18:10
but here's an intriguing fact just a few days before those dreadful events a messenger from maidan andrei perubi made
1:18:18
a visit to odessa it's an interesting coincidence that some of the people he met with in odessa
1:18:24
were seen at the scene that fateful day
1:18:29
[Music] but not everyone was mourning
1:18:36
on the popular political talk show shuster live the news about the people burnt alive in odessa was welcomed with
1:18:43
a long round of applause
1:18:55
on its facebook page the right sector announced the events of may 2 a proud
1:19:00
moment in national history an official investigation into this sad event has been going on now for nearly two years
1:19:07
and it's yet to reach a conclusion but it seems the experts had all the information they needed from the very
1:19:14
beginning
1:19:21
[Applause]
1:19:26
it looks like odessa really is a very important piece of real estate as it was honored with a very special
1:19:33
new governor appointed on may thirtieth of 2015. mikhail sakashvili
1:19:40
an old friend of the united states and born and raised in ukraine's neighboring country georgia a little hoedown there
1:19:47
in georgia a quick look at his biography gives one an understanding that he's been groomed for a special mission
