Russian Ukrainian War

I forgot to mention, but Putin didn't cancel his own election either. What is Zelensky afraid of? Winning a landslide like Putin did? or losing?
I was wrong when I thought you weren't a fool.
How can elections be held when there is a war. 20% is occupied, the whole country is being shot through. Millions of refugees abroad. About 300 thousand at the front. Are you going to take the ballot boxes to them for "zero"? The press is limited in what it can say. There will be a "Russian hunt" for the candidates, etc.
When the war ends, there will be elections.
By the way, in Suzhda last September, there were supposed to be local elections. Did they take place? There were no elections in all Russian regions where military actions are taking place. Do you even know that airports are not working in all Russian border regions?

The confederates states of America were occupied during 1963 but they held an election from May till November of that year. This was 2 years into the civil war. Are Ukrainians too stupid to know how to hold an election? Akim, it might be better to just admit you're wrong, but you dumb Ukrainians never can admit this. That's why you double down and look like bigger fools than you would if you would just admit when you're wrong in the first place. Keep letting Zelensky get your soldiers surrounded and never learn from it. What a gift Ukrainian stupidity is to Putin.

"The elections were processed over six months due to the amount of Confederate territory occupied by the Union Army, in addition to all of the absentee ballots necessitated by the large refugee population."

A Russian T-72 tank with Tsar-Mangal protection, called "Gorynych", is evacuating a Ukrainian M113 armored personnel carrier. This version of the T-72 tank's protection is currently invulnerable to drones. The video shows two tanks with Tsar-Mangal protection. The M113 armored personnel carrier was developed in the United States in 1959. The reason why the Ukrainian servicemen abandoned the armored personnel carrier is unknown; visually, it appears to be undamaged.

The interrogation of senior soldier of the Ukrainian Army Yevhen Fabrisenko. From September 28 to November 24, 2024, he and his colleagues killed 11 men and 11 women in the Kursk region, eight of whom were raped. The bodies of the dead were hidden in the basements of private houses. They did everything, following the orders of their commander. Fabrisenko said that there were two men and a woman in one of the houses. One of the men had his veins opened "just to make fun of him," and the other was shot. The woman was raped, then also killed. The soldiers also drove six elderly people into the basement and threw a grenade there. At the moment, the identities of the five soldiers who did this have been established. The soldiers used heroin and vodka. These episodes occurred in the Russian village of Porechnoye in the Kursk region. Link to the video in TG. The crimes were committed by soldiers of the 92nd separate assault brigade of Ukraine - senior soldier Yevhen Fabrisenko, a commander with the call sign Kum and three soldiers with the call signs Motyl, Conductor and Artist. An 18-year-old girl was raped and killed in the back of the head personally by senior soldier Yevgeny Fabrisenko.

I already said: columns of captured Ukrainian soldiers for inspection. Even the Russian user is trying - here he is looking for video evidence. From you only blah-blah.
Indeed, after the fall of Maryinka and Vugledar, an operational situation was created that allows the Russians to develop their success. But these are tactical successes. This is not "city after city", these are towns. Due to high urbanization, the population density there is such that you can spit and end up in a neighboring town.
You, like most civilians, think straightforwardly. There is a capture of territory - this is a success. But you do not want to look at the other side. - what price did you pay for it.
There is a letter from Igor Girkin (Strelкov) in TG - I think you will find the English version. Read it and you will understand that a motorcycle with a North Korean machine gun is not an isolated case. The straw that will break the back of the Russian camel is already visible.

At least you back on subject. The bottom line is Putin won't negotiate with Zelensky until an election. That was the point you missed. Now that we got that out of the way, we are back at a very old and consistent western media narrative, "Russian losses are 10 times that of Ukraine, because they send wave after waves of attacks until they overwhelm the enemy to take towns of no strategic value."
I get it Akim, despite being a civilian I completely understand the price Russia pays to take Ukrainian territory. In almost every war the attacker always losses more than the defender, but this war is different. I've mentioned this before, Russia has more firepower in every area which includes air superiority, artillery, missiles, drones, tanks, and FAB bombs. That's why it's Ukraine who is losing more soldiers than Russia despite being mostly on defense. That's why if Ukraine continues this war they will lower the draft age, probably to 18 years of age.

an episode of a battle of a Russian unit, during the storming of a stronghold of the Ukrainian army located in a former livestock complex. The video allows you to immerse yourself in the real atmosphere of the war in Ukraine. The authors did not report the location of the shooting and which Ukrainian and Russian units participated in the battle. The video is shortened, the music inserted by the authors has been replaced, where possible, the original sound of the battle was left. Judging by the video, the assault was carried out by several Russian units from different directions, they were attacked by Ukrainian drones of the Baba Yaga type and DJI mavic drones. Presumably, mobilized military personnel participated in the battle. Armored vehicles supported the attack from the other side during the assault.

We already have 6 million draft dodgers running around the country. If we lower the mobilization age, there will be even more.
I don't know why the previous and current US Administrations want this reduction. It's better to help with something other than advice - let them give more weapons. And don't interfere with their restrictions.
There are a million soldiers at the front/in the rear. The question here is motivation. Some people get tired of running/hiding from the TCC. But many try to escape abroad.
You think of yourself as a historian of WW2. How much did the population of Switzerland and Sweden increase from 1940-1945? 8 million Germans fled from mobilization then.
In this parameter, people are the same everywhere.
We really do have a shortage of soldiers at the front. But this is explained by the fact that there are hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers in reserve for the next offensive. When the enemy is exhausted, they will go into battle. I understand that you haven't read Girkin/Strelkov. He writes about this.

Eight million able body men fled German between 1940 and 1945? Not a chance. You can't include any Jews in that number because they were not permitted in the German army, but there were a few exceptions. The little research I did showed Switzerland let in about 300k from all areas.
