After reading this, I looked up the data for child marriages in BD, and wow, even after the recent economic progress, child marriages in Bangladesh are increasing and not decreasing!

In the light of this information I'm pretty sure , all their statistics of TFR , their population etc is much like their statistics on their economic parameters - bogus.

Their population is definitely more than 160-170 million which is their official population figures & pole vaulting which is a continuous affair will only get worse while we're supine in our attempts to prevent it.
