I don't know why the IA never adopted these waist level belt rigs. These were available since the 1960s and allow you to carry a shit tonne without feeling the weight on your shoulders.

yeah was discussing the other day. US and Russians have been using waist level LBVs for decades and its far more comfortable.

Nope Army will standarise ACHs but not just MKU ones they have MKU,SMPP and maybe some other brands too and are in process of standarising ACH but a long way away from that

That's the IHPS and not ACH. its an upgrade over the ACH however testing has shown them to be the same if not better.
