Kydex ones take a while to get used to especially when you are habitual of old school stap holsters maybe he can try one and then decide

Expos def expo in coming month that's the only way they don't have stores so you can't try unless you know someone who has one

That’s a downside icl this is not like clothes that we have an idea what’s the quality how will ik if iam ordering the correct thing for someone

As @Noob suggested, I would also lean towards Kydex one's as well. Quicker draw and safety options if you buy the one that fits with the specific model of your duty weapon.

Regarding comfort, I absolutely get that, it will also vary on his body shape and how and where he carries the weapon.
If he is allowed to get it, the I would recommend a Quick Locking System Kit, that he can mount on his belt so that he can carry and detach the holster as per his convenience and its more comfortable because the holster does not poke into the body anymore.
If he mounts it on his thighs then there are similar options for that as well.

Not the first time when they get bulk order from forces they have to close civilian business cause they are small group rn workout out of small factory but this is a good news cheers everyone some units is about to get good shit 🔥🔥, and yea call them hopefully something can workout it it doesn't let me know I will try from my side

also @Mr.Evil boss can ur known wait for some more time ? I heard armasen is dropping kydex holsters. If he's serving he can directly place a order from them.

2,4,9,11 and 12(which recently took the delivery) are the ones using them religiously maybe some multicam PC for Marco's the MK3 one bhaiya was talking about and for holster it would have already been released by now if it wasn't for the supplier

Yes bhai iam waiting for the kydex one its not that urgent but the problem is to convince who will be using the holster he is old school guy has never used kydex ones but ill try @VictorDelta4 gave good advice on the detachable one ill look into that one.

Since he works for the govt, even if you get the QLS imported, custom clearance should not be an issue.
I have seen the same systems on Aliexpress however their durability is questionable.
Here is an example of it. This one comes with both the male and female adaptor.
