How many Tariffs were implemented by USA?

They are just saying we will implement 50% here and 50% there. Barring the Tech, Aerospace sectors, all other sectors were sitting ducks and they need constant ball lifting by US. Their Automoblie sector is highly US Centric which is an outright Pickup market for no reason. (Iconic Soccer Mom cars). Their shipbuilding is slow as biden. Food industry is basically Obesity exporters.

They are just a slave for Cheap chinese goods for upcoming years.

Doesn't matter, the moment he puts his Big, Beautiful tareefs on India the markets, dhandhos and babooze will all shit themselves.

Tareefs are def coming, Dolund is a deep state puppet and this Tareefs drama is only an extension of the Pannu-Nijjar "assassination" dramas and GE supply chain issues of the Biden regime.

Has Trump or today’s “Shylock Sam” Succeeded with His July 9th Deadline?

(Trump’s July 9th tariff push saw limited success, with misguided targets and partial gains in trade talks he is unlikely to address current trade imbalances.)

Trump has succeeded only partially. Trump’s tariff mandates, unpopular even among allies, lacked strategic depth and created global trade turmoil. Frenzied trade talks have a limited chance of success. There are about 200 countries trying their best to negotiate with Trump team. Trump’s team is spread thin unable to reach the finish line in a short time given to them.

His focus should’ve been on China’s $382 billion trade surplus with the U.S., not the minor players. Instead, he targeted all, undermining credibility. The $2 trillion budget deficit stems from NATO overspending, outsourcing to China, and bloated U.S. government expenses.

Trump’s push to make NATO allies pay more and cut domestic waste via the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) showed promise. If even half of Elon Musk’s $1 trillion savings target is met, it’s a major win.

To truly succeed, Trump must stop squeezing nations with small trade surplus and focus on big-trade imbalances. By forcing NATO nations to spend more on defence he has cut part of bloated U.S. expenses in Europe. If he does these, history may view it as a job well done. He has already dealt with bloated U.S. bureaucracy. That is feather in his cap.

Tarrifs are inevitable due to the very nature of the orange monkey. We won't budge on GM crops. No one knows for long the tarrifs will hold.

Great time to short the markets. If not, sell your positions and wait for the fall to reenter. Go long on gold, silver.

US has trade surplus with Brazil yet they put 50% tariffs on them. Absolute audacity of Cheetos man orangutan.

I'm sure they will ask that Brazil import US soybean, sugar, corn and meat

Below are Brazil's top exports

30% on EU and Mexico.

Now India seems to be the only major economy that is still pending.
The chances are bleak but with our team traveling to US again means some interim deal excluding agri, dairy could be possible.

In the worst case with no deal, even with the original 26% tariff we are probably better placed than our rivals?

Viets turning out to be the best dealmakers, managed to reduce potential tariff rate by 26%

The Mexico letter is funny, I hope ours will be funny as well.

"TARIFF KING!"
"TAXES ON HARLEY DAVIDSON!"

Viets turning out to be the best dealmakers, managed to reduce potential tariff rate by 26%
The 40% of transshipment tariff still hurts them and deters Chinese re-routing.
As of now I think transshipped US exports are in the range of ~20%.
They also slashed all their tariffs to 0.

Still a good deal for them given other countries tariffs and their own exports heavily skewed towards US.

We are going to be hit by that ((( economic bunker buster bill )))
Our fools still think we will get a trade deal with them, they haven't tareefed us yet because we'll get the big one.

This is a deep state scheme to punish the major countries

Vietnam is a mini "good china" filled with "hard working" yellow people making widgets and other stuff for Uncle Sam, doubt their Chinese re-labelling scams will be hit though since the goods must flow to the US.

This would be a massive escalation at 500% tariffs on China and India. This is basically worse than sanctions!
Will also indirectly hurt EU since we ship them a lot of refined crude.
It will literally tank the stock bond markets.
As of today the 10Y yield still remains elevated at 4.5% and will spike which will have devastating consequences to US.
.
I looked at the bill, there is an option for a presidential waiver for 180 days with a potential to extend it one more time for another 180 days.
Even if this gets passed the waiver would kick in as a ‘warning’ shot. Add in another extension of the waiver and we are looking at a 1 yr of no tariffs.
Looking at how Russia is stepping up attacks and making gains much faster I would say some sort of CF deal will be made by then.

As for India and China, both their exports to US are less than 20% I.e more diversified than Vietnam.
If this happens, I wouldn’t be surprised if we have no choice but to ‘team up’ with China and retaliate with 500%. While it will be a massive hit on our trade surplus and ekanami, it would only bring BRICS closer and push us into ‘Chinese orbit’ which is detrimental for US interests. We have been playing ‘sabotage’ in BRICS forums so far.
This will also make Modi even more popular for ‘standing up to the bully’ and will give a golden chance for Sindoor 2.0 and clean up the house?

To conclude, I think this bill is only Graham’s wet dream and even if it passes it will work against US’s interests and tariffs will be waived until the war comes to a logical conclusion on its own.
It will also defeat any of the ‘good faith trade negotiations’ that are already done/going on.
500% is basically a declaration of war.
