This very significant.. I can't believe that DRDO is working on this. This is an actual next generation engine and only the usual suspects are working on this .. And do I read "stable flow" ? Damn this is a nice white pill .
Why is it significant? This engine detonates fuel instead of just combusting .Detonations mean the shockwave is supersonic. This means that the engine in question will be 25% + more efficient (in terms of specific impulse).

Guess what both Chinese and Americans can hack Israeli shit.

I guess Chinese & Americans have backdoor access to almost all Israeli shit. Our corrupt genrols & babus can't stop taking L.

Moron you seem to assume we don't know anything about electronics and networking.

Could it be hmmmmm.... just could it be "anarchists" making us lose confidence in our equipment?

Meanwhile Iranians have demonstrated ability to hack the ubermensch "american" drones.

koreans make both towed and mounted versions of their KH178 howitzers, the mounted one looks so similar to Bharat Forge's Garuda 105mm V2

It's nearly 2 tons heavier than the Garuda 105. I dont see anybody else winning this.

But it is within the AON requirements :crusin2::crusin3::crusin4::crusin5:.

Don't worry there won't be any single vendor situation.
Either this via L&T or whatever abomination AWEIL and gang come up with.

Poor Baba Kalyani suffering (literally) from success.

hawkeye is there , specs seems similar

Hawkeye SRT 105 mm is from the Mandus Group - tech partner of Kalyani whose 105 mm howitzer owes a lot to SRT developed by Mandus.

In other words it's the same thing as Garuda 105 mm howitzer.

thats interesting , no wonder they look same same , i thought kalyani copied design. still i hope army doesnt go for them  .

saw 105mm towed being deployed right at lac when stand off started , we should be replacing them with these .

Observe the date.

Nearly all offerings of the Kalyani group as far as artillery goes has its origins out of India. The credit lies in their adapting this tech to Indian conditions & learning fast enough to come up with iterative designs / new designs.

To that extent this group has been very successful & truth be told it's a proven tried & tested hack.

Get tech from abroad , learn all you can about it , adapt it to local conditions before you start building new designs around it .
