Not my hallucination. I don't want the aircraft used by IAF to be shot down but none of the aircraft used by India or Pakistan are immune to attack by ground or air launched missiles.

What's the nonsense about confirmation bias? Aircraft get shot down in conflict zones.

We are in new war paradigm air-force wise. I dont think we wanna play america's/israel's go balls deep and fuck someone with airforce model and i think that model is dying out - now it is all about drone warfare and having air control of air space to intercept enemy ingress and KO them there' type of combat scenrio involving, especially in our neighbourood.
So we have to go balls deep on drone+anti-drone stuff

Yes, absolutely. If a Rafale can be shot down easily by a run-of-the-mill air defense system, then one would think multiple times about the orders that are yet to be delivered.

You can't do heavy bombing with drones. So, both are required. However, I do agree that the future belongs to unmanned fighter jets.

2) super sukhoi upgrade for the whole fleet
3) similar upgrades for mig 29 and mirage 2000
4) more awacs of both dosa and idli type
5) sigint,comint, istar etc etc force multipliers
6) Ghatak and swift should be used
7) astra mk2 and gandiva mass produced and main backbone bvraam
8) ngccm to be operationalised on wing tip pylons
9) transporters
10) project kusha operational along with qrsam, vlsrsam, vshorads and etc etc

pls add any other indigenous projects

AMCA needs to be fast tracked. 2035 induction is just way way too late. And I honestly don't know how, but the gormint must find a way out and speed it up.

If not AMCA, atleast Ghatak should be inducted in mass numbers before 2030. Some stealth is absolutely necessary going forward.

Super Sukhoi hopefully is fast tracked on an URGENT basis in the next few years. Also just drop the babu ridden bureaucratic nightmare of MRFA and just do a G2G deal. Personally, just buy more mk30I and then upgrade them to super sukhoi along with Virupaksha and gandiva and that should make it good enough with lot of(more than 50%) indigenous content. Understood that there are large rcs, maintenance and cost issues, but it is what it is.

Sukhoi is cheap, has low order book and can start deliveries soon rather than Dassault which will keep us waiting till 2030.

I hope this war lights a fire under our asses. No time to lose with Taiwan conflict looming in the near future.
