Wasn't talking about the suicide. Yes a few words might've been said in anger but decision they took were collective decision. They should've known when to take a pause. They're not kids. They're representing a prestigious university & the country per se. What happened is a clear case of racism & segregation. This is real life, not YouTube comment section. Look at those faculty's absurd comments. There are videos. They said something like "Our university budget is more than your GDP". Very immature remarks in such a critical time. Then the university asked all Nepalese to leave hostels. Some even left hostels in fear. If govt hadn't interfered it would've ended up worse. This is the benchmark we're setting for foreign students? This is pure insanity. How is the college/university administration responsible for romantic relationship between the two adults gone wrong? Had it been a male nobody would have cared. The girl had the option of approaching the police, she did not.
A few words were spoken in anger, however that doesn't hide the fact that the hive-minded protesters were trying to disturb peace over such issue. The university administration did what was important for bringing order back on the campus.
"Majority of Indians" don't need to bear the burden of such incidences.
