Do some R&D on what happened to the GRU Spetz units post the Berlin Wall falling - which was right after Afghanistan.

"Russia" already hurting in men and material post Astan, was dismantled - and the economic collapse and purge of pro soviet officer cadre took its Toll.

Also research Russian Orbat and effectiveness in both the Chechnyan conflicts.

The Russians eventually fell back to the one thing they had a superiority on - rocket forces.

They replaced skill with brute force.


A 1998-2005 Para Cdo was superior warfighter than any spetznas soldier.


Ironically the ONE thing we had going for us untill the mid 2000s was our combat experience. No longer can claim that with expect the Chinese

Sure Post Soviet..the Russian forces were at their worst. However, despite limited resources the Russian SFs gave their best. The fought major conflicts in Dagestan and Chechanya. Para SFs post Kargil were great but calling them superior to Spetsnaz is a 'Joke'.

I would agree on the fact that Spetsnaz in skills were never ever below Para SF.

Even in their worst periods their AK handling was way superior than any Indian Unit could show.

Even US veterans have trained under ex spetsnaz and only praised them.

Maybe in tactics used and decision making Spetsnaz could be questioned but again who are we to question when our own NSG op is questioned by goras.

I think it’s safe to guess where this consignment of Mepro MOR Sights are going to go. Wonder why Mepro also partnered with RRP S4E to make these in India as even Adani-PLR used to make them too?

Chechens are also poor. Thinking one fighter is superior is why Indians are in a backward state. If punjabi poor muslims then what does that say of indians who have been getting their asses handed to them by these paki punjabis in 2024

Well,in kashmir in the 90s everyone specially from the Army had much much much more respect for the Afghans and Chechens than the Pak punjabis who still choose to run away than stay and fight.

Pak punjabi muslims never ever came as close to Indian Army as much as the Afghans came before opening fire.

Even now when Indian Army and government is looking for exchanging goodies with Pak Army on LOC after getting one officer matyred the Afghans are actually fighting it out against the Pakis on the western border.

(I know i know baniyagiri zindabad and economy is always more important than soldiers lives)

Sorry,i totally respect some tribes who fight for whatever their cause is without any corruption..And Paki punjabi muslims are not those kind of tribes i respect.

Chechens are poor?? Google first battle of Grozni.Also in 2000 or something in a single ambush they killed some 200 russians .
