I believe this is coming from the inherent 'Indian' bias. I have been following the SF scene since the last 15 years. Have written consistently on this topic. Sure Post Soviet..the Russian forces were at their worst. However, despite limited resources the Russian SFs gave their best. The fought major conflicts in Dagestan and Chechanya. Para SFs post Kargil were great but calling them superior to Spetsnaz is a 'Joke'.
I would agree on the fact that Spetsnaz in skills were never ever below Para SF.
10 para was one of the most feared units of IA. This is a joke now.
10 in certainly not in the top 4 units right now.

Chechens are also poor. Thinking one fighter is superior is why Indians are in a backward state. If punjabi poor muslims then what does that say of indians who have been getting their asses handed to them by these paki punjabis in 2024
Well,in kashmir in the 90s everyone specially from the Army had much much much more respect for the Afghans and Chechens than the Pak punjabis who still choose to run away than stay and fight.
Chechens are poor?? Google first battle of Grozni.Also in 2000 or something in a single ambush they killed some 200 russians .
