Just a quetion
How will our tejas mk2 compare with J10C and F16 block52
Much better than F-16 but no better than J-10C.
MK2 sits a little low in terms of endurance and payload compare to both, but Block 52 doesn't even have AESA radar. And not much info about J10C leaks out of China, so we don't know it's engine performance, crash rate, availability rate etc. It has AESA radar, but Chinese and export tier.Just a quetion

Block 70 has AESA radar.MK2 sits a little low in terms of endurance and payload compare to both, but Block 52 doesn't even have AESA radar. I think you got the other way around. Much better than j-10c and at par with F-16 block 52 or higher
But the discussion is about blk 52. Which is pretty inferior to J10C and as a result inferior to Tejas mk2.Block 70 has AESA radar.
U mean dual pylon missile racks ??Why doesnt our tejas mk1a use missile racks for bvr missiles such as jf 17 or fa50?
Not enough space for dual pylon in center because we did not make wvr pylon on Tejas wingtipsWhy doesnt our tejas mk1a use missile racks for bvr missiles such as jf 17 or fa50?

One of those rare occasions IDRW has come up with a credible article.GOI should have funded an FTB decades ago. Nothing stops them doing that now.
I remember the flying tests of Kaveri15 years ago. I believe it was a very costly exercise, at the end of which India did not have its own FTB, so would have to pay again and again for any future engine testing. Same thing with wind tunnel testing - I think that India just had Mk2 inlets tested in a French wind tunnel.
Why no wings ?Bc they already have a assembled fuselage without wings
