ADA Tejas Mark-II/Medium Weight Fighter

Why no wings ?
Who knows I had heard some months ago they started to assemble wings too. Not sure
The prototype assembly was stopped by mod until engine deal was done.
Most stupid decision..
Atleast when the aircraft would have been flight ready they would have started testing out its some of the things this would have been better approach they already have f414 delivered for evaluating purpose. Very stupid decision by moD.

So has that stupid condition now removed or passed? Has the work going on full swing?

If tejas mk2 ff happened in 2023 we would have been in completely different situation
Atleast 35% testing would have been completed. But then here we are new changes are being implemented in the Tejas mk2 design after extensive wind tunnel testing in France it was said it has much less drag and much better improved aerodynamically compared to Tejas mk1A, now it is refined even more. Just some copium. Is it that significant even after 2yrs of ff & testing would have been implemented in it ?? Who knows.
It could be very significant or not much we don't know.
Anyways any improvement in aerodynamics is good yields good efficiency.

Yeah lets hope everything goes good
Tejas mk 2 program is very important considering it will be main workforce of iaf

Another contender to power Tejas mk-2.
Hope engineers get the leeway after the disastrous fallout with GE supply.
If amca was supposed to have russian engine surely it won't be al31 variant.
Russian also introduced new rd33 varient with more than 6000 hrs and 5th gen capability it could work for lca mk 2 and amca as we will have choice

By the time the Tejas Mk2 is deployed, it will be 2030, and the AMCA is expected to be deployed by 2040. I understand that war is not likely to break out soon, but given the number of unexpected conflicts we've seen lately, we can't predict when we might need to be in a war-ready mode.

Yeah, but there are rumors going around that they are designing frame to accommodate different engines.
Where bro?
We can't design an aircraft which can accommodate 2 types of engines as there are lot of differences wrt dimensions and other properties between russian and American engines
We need to design whole another prototype

That's why I said rumors.
Here they are mentioning how engine bay will be able to accommodate once 110 KN engine arrives.
That's why I said giving engineers more leeway.
Maybe tejas mk-2 A variant.
