Some members are writing about fencing the total border asap.

Below is a gentle reminder of why it's going to take a really long time.

Any fencing/permanent structure cannot be built on the zero line(international border), but instead 450 ft within our own country, this is per a pact agreed upon by Indira Gandhi and Mujeeb. i.e essentially we have to acquire/buy all that extra land from the respective state bordering Bangladesh and then move out/compensate all the people living there since we can't have people living beyond the fence...
