Dictators don't like competition. They create a power void to establish themselves as the absolute authority. India could not do much except having conversation with the various stakeholders (ruling and opposition).

We will soon learn the outcome of those engagements. May be, the strategy is to get rid of the bipolar politics (BAL-BNP) in Bangladesh.
