Quantum Computing

Quantum Mechanics as a branch of physics began with a set of scientific discoveries in the late 19th Century and has been in active development ever since. Most people will point to the 1980s as the start of physicists actively looking at computing with quantum systems.

1982: History of quantum computing starts with Richard Feynman lectures on the potential advantages of computing with quantum systems.

1985: David Deutsch publishes the idea of a “universal quantum computer”

1994: Peter Shor presents an algorithm that can efficiently find the factors of large numbers, significantly outperforming the best classical algorithm and theoretically putting the underpinning of modern encryption at risk (referred to now as Shor’s algorithm).

1996: Lov Grover presents an algorithm for quantum computers that would be more efficient for searching databases (referred to now as Grove’s search algorithm)

1996: Seth Lloyd proposes a quantum algorithm which can simulate quantum-mechanical systems

1999: D-Wave Systems founded by Geordie Rose

2000: Eddie Farhi at MIT develops idea for adiabatic quantum computing

2001: IBM and Stanford University publish the first implementation of Shor’s algorithm, factoring 15 into its prime factors on a 7-qubit processor.

2010: D-Wave One: first commercial quantum computer released (annealer)

2016: IBM makes quantum computing available on IBM Cloud

2019: Google claims the achievement of quantum supremacy. Quantum Supremacy was termed by John Preskill in 2012 to describe when quantum systems could perform tasks surpassing those in the classical world.

China only copies and recieves tech transfers the so called innovations are most of the time reshuffle tech transfers and a lot of plagiarism and fake research

His company, GreenFluidies, generates intelligent solar panels made with microalgae and nano fluids that generate oxygen and energy while absorbing carbon dioxide through solar radiation. This initiative merits him as a winner in the Latin American Innovators Under 35 from The MIT Technology Review LATAM edition.

These inventions alone should rank India on par or exceed China.


 
To prove its capabilities, the research team used the chip to recreate the ‘Pillars of Creation’ using raw James Webb Space Telescope data. The original image was created using NASA’s Pleiades supercomputer, which had a theoretical peak of 608.83 GFlop/s and a power rating of 2,090 kW. However, with their neuromorphic accelerator paired with a desktop computer, they could output the same image at a fraction of the time and energy required.

innovation is not a paper, innovation means Make new comes from NOVA ;Latin for new.

China has not innovated but modified, it is mostly evolutionary technology. ,same technology that has been modified.

Used as propaganda since China never acknowledges copying and it is a lot of propaganda by CCP.

China leads in area the des-industrialization of Western companies by setting plants and allowing manufacturing be done there and not in western countries with forced tech transfers.


Same is happening in Mexico, but I will not say we lead because Mexico does not ask forced technology transfers and later claim we did all. we copy get it but we like any nation have ultra smart people.

Safran Aircraft Engines, a global leader in the manufacture of aeronautical engines, inaugurated a new assembly line at its plant in Querétaro, Mexico, as part of an ambitious expansion. The event was chaired by Alejandro Cardona Seemann, President of Safran Mexico, and Marcial Suárez, General Manager of the plant, together with important personalities such as Marcelo Ebrard, Secretary of Economy; Marco del Prete Tercero, Secretary of Sustainable Development of the State of Querétaro; and Delphine Borione, Ambassador of France in Mexico.
The CFM LEAP engine, one of the most successful on the market, will be the protagonist of this new stage, with the final assembly of fans and turbines. This expansion will generate 150 new jobs, bringing Safran Aircraft Engines Mexico (SAEM) to a total of 650 employees and an infrastructure of 26,000 square meters, including an additional 4,300 meters of operating space.

In addition, the plant in Querétaro is consolidated as the first final assembly site for engines for single-aisle commercial aircraft in Mexico, a milestone in the industry that reinforces Mexico's strategic position in the global aeronautical supply chain.

Jean-Paul Alary, CEO of Safran Aircraft Engines, highlighted the importance of this expansion at the Farnborough Airshow: “Mexico will position itself among the few countries capable of covering the entire engine life cycle, from parts manufacturing to maintenance and testing.”

With more than 34 years of operation in Mexico and nearly 14,000 employees in 18 facilities, Safran continues to consolidate its position as the main employer in the Mexican aerospace industry. The new assembly line in Querétaro not only strengthens the company's production capacity, but also the competitiveness and future of the aerospace industry in the region.

Why the French set the plant in Mexico? simple we do respect IP and we do not ask tech transfers we are suppliers by true capitalistic policies.


China remains behind in areas the West has noy allowed tech transfers like Jet engines and Chip design

I used to work in a foreign company,you know as a salesman,a director of the sales in department,but not anymore.I'm 37 years old this year.I have no wife no house,no money.I'm also in debt,nowadays I just make aliving by doing all kinds of part time jobs,see sometimes even being a delivery guy,it's not so stable.

China launches first large-scale production line for civil aviation tires

China's first large-scale production line for civil aviation tires has been completed and put into operation in Guilin, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Xinhua News Agency reported on Monday.

According to manufacturer Sinochem Holdings, the production facility has an annual production capacity of 100,000 aviation tires, which can fulfill 40 percent of annual demand for civil aviation tires in China.

The production line covers nearly 50,000 square meters and is installed with more than 80 high-end machines to produce aviation tires from raw materials to finished products.

The plant incorporates smart logistics and robotic applications, leveraging advanced automation and intelligent systems to fully automate the production and monitoring of aviation tires. This approach minimizes human errors and safety risks, significantly enhancing product quality and ensuring the safety of commercial flights, according to Sinochem.

As of the end of 2023, there are more than 4,000 civil aviation transport aircraft in China, which are expected to use over 250,000 tires annually. Sinochem said the new production line will greatly enhance China's capacity to produce aviation tires.

In tandem with the production line, China recently launched the nation's first aviation tire takeoff and landing testing platform, capable of simulating a variety of challenging and complex environments for civil aviation tire research and development, Xinhua reported.

Recently, Sinochem announced the release of 12 specifications of civil aviation tires for six aircraft models, including the C909, A320 and B737. The tires all possess complete independent intellectual property rights and are capable of covering 80 percent of the accessory types used by the domestic civil aviation fleet, Xinhua reported.
