How does IA keep falling for ambushes? This is like the 10th such incident in 3 years of nearly identical fashion. And it is not like they are falling for a rigged building that explodes either. Pure incompetence.

Despite recovering multiple M4s with Chinese thermal scopes, the army is shameless and acting deliberately ignorant.. this is fucking no excuse to die because they didn't had night fighting capabilities. Conditions are worse than sub Saharan militias. When they knew that terrorists had upper ground and thermal optic, why did the leadership send them at night just with a fucking ak with iron sights. Where exactly are the fucking modernization funds going. I know where they are going but army fan boys won't like it to hear

Nothing will change until terrorists ambush these whisky generals (particularly at night). Indian top brass do not care much about a few jawans being KIA every other day, as long as the numbers are not too great like Pulwama. What gives the impression that the Indian military elites ever cared about the lowly Jawan? Isnt this the same army where top military leaders were very proud of the fact that artillery crew did not wear ear plugs for the longest time claiming it will "harden their resolve", ignoring the fact that their hearing will be permanently damaged. This army still has a british era master-slave system in place where officers have an army of personal helpers to serve them. You will know the level of organizational rot in the army just by looking at these low hanging fruits.

As @spadex bhai wrote the entire bait was set up at night and knowing where we stand they got us easily
Coming to reapeted ambushes is bcoz we are focusing on deterrence rather elimination of threat

Coming to forum itself 80% of post are about no armoured vehicles no night fighting capabilities no learning
Yes u guys are damn right and completely agree with it
But this is not the only solution
It could be only solution if it's would have been 2-3 times
But now no of ambushes are more than 2 digits
Now along with deterrence we need to eliminate the threat completely
This all nuisance is being done with help of extremely good network and ssg led 40-45 terrorists in the region
Crack it down break the fucking ceasefire make things horrible for munir make infiltration impossible
Hunt down the supporters and their family

Also the media should stop using terms like US made weapons, Chinese thermals, western radio sets etc etc as if that is some scary superweapon. It is 2024. Why do they expect terrorists to be as ill-equipped as our jawans? The americans left a huge cache in Afghanistan. And the Chinese have dozens of domestic thermals/binocular scope suppliers. Even ignoring nefarious reason, anyone can make an order for these scopes, with the cheapest ones coming at $1000. Just look at the number of suppliers they have. Add the european and american ones to the list and there is no limits to what ISPR can do if they really want to wreck havoc. If the Indian military with a $80 billion still can't counter this, i have nothing to say.

Problem needs to be addressed from both the ends one is equipments and training and other is going after their network and hitting them deep

Coming to night fighting capabilities it takes years to develop it
It's not just nvg and strobes ur entire training should revolve around it which is a mammoth process and that takes time
We here were shouting since 2017 get urself night fighting for even few officers were consistently advocating for it but as usual our honorable genrails will never understand

Idk why the literal fuck army generals REFUSE to buy modern day NVGs when they are clearly avalible. Excuse my language but this is getting annoying. Maj Gen GD Bakshi himself has called for and detailed the lack of NVG and heli ops (something which isnt talked about enough on this forum).

Shout all you want about airstrikes but Kashmir is India and no country would and should airstrike their own land. This will obviously make manpower and foot operations the bulk. Heli Ops, night ops, etc these should be happening daily. We need our capabilities in both avenues to increase.
