It's absurd for someone to say Balakot 2.0 bc 1.0 was a blatant failure. Planning an op simply isn't about taking out our intended targets but protecting our assets during the aftermath.

Post IAF's airstrike in Balakot, ISPR openly stated they'd respond and we as civilians know they'd respond but our side had zero preparation to counter. They sent a massive strike package of 24 jets, most of them being F-16s while we only had 8 fighters in CAP...many of them being Mig-21s

It doesn't matter if we shot their F-16 or they took down a Su-30 but the bottomline is many of their jets crossed into our airspace and dropped load next to our military installation while their AWACS was effectively jamming our fighters...and during this entire saga, idk what our AD and AWACS were doing but ended up taking one of our own helo in friendly fire

I'm pretty sure not much has changed ever since and we'd have to collectively agree PAF has far superior tactics & strategy over IAF.

You need money/resources to act cocky and flex muscles - nobody takes a beggar seriously. The drop in terror attacks correlates very well with our PCI growth. The future netas would be more daring because they will have an even bigger economy.

Again, massive Intel failure.

It seems Pakistan is not bothered/deterred by Trump who has released money for F-16 maintenance which was approved before by Biden.

They are itching for an Indian retaliation to "unify" their quam.

I am sure there are voices within India bureaucracy & polity that would not want to give Pakistan that.

That is what I mean maybe Modi and government knows that army is in no shape to fight.
Army waits for the morning to fight. Airforce is loosing it's edge in every department and they still want imports.
Armed forces themselves are their own biggest handicap. They themselves don't want to change.

If tomorrow Modi and government starts blaming armed forces for their corruption and imports you can see how fast they loose the next election. Armed forces are revered next to God, Bollywood has made sure of that. Nobody can criticise them for imports or corruption. Any criticism of them and you will be called anti national. Our own member was doxxed for calling out the armed force.

Now Tell me how should government respond.

I want nothing but pure revenge for killing our own but unfortunately it will never happen.
Our Hindu folks will happily buy stuff from Muslims next day and forget about this incident until the next one happens.

If youve been watching news related to J&K regularly, you might have figured out how administration works in J&K. Recently, JKP SP ops posts were abolished in some areas to relieve unwarranted stress on the manpower of JKP based upon the threat perception report, in a similiar manner, a few places have very less presence of JKP and sometimes a CAPF (also, army is not usually mandated for this task).
The place where these tourists were killed had like almost nil presence of police, maybe a sentry or two. Nearest Army presence is a HAWS camp, SOG in anantnag and the nearest CRT is almost 45 mins by foot.

Of course Balakot wasn't a failure. It kept major attacks at bay for 6 freaking years!

Are we 2X more aggressive than Pak?

Current leaders don't have an ounce of spine in them as they themselves grew up in a socialist shihole in poverty. The scarcity mindset and being defensive is ingrained to them.

People will forget about it in a few days the majority of this country doesn't really care their will be no retaliation a few of them will be killed and it will be job done.

Their civilians are subhumans for them.
If GoI wanted to hurt them it would be wise to go after the top jernails and their family and their ((( DHAs ))) as targets.

However those are the elites, you hit them and they hit back at our elites, so that is why that option will not be exercised.

As i've said, killing and dying are for us unimportant proles, including the jawans

How do you compare 'aggressions'? Do you want to compare the number of casualties? Do you want to conpare the number the number of terror attacks each have had to cope up with inside their respective borders? Do you compare k:d ratios?

Per SATP, we fare better than them in all these metrics - it is not even close. Pakiland is a terror infested failed state throwing some last gasp desperate punches before getting pushed into a corner and becoming irrelevant in J&K. It is NOT a cope to call it out as such.
