people are laughing in reactions, but reminder, my teligram goyz i mentioned in past regd 155mm artillery things, some of them called this design more stable and functional than Garuda V2This is the OFB one... feeling like vomitinglooking at it... saalon ko laaj sharm mar gaya hai... how do they even dare to bring out such shit with confidence.

So they already did licencing in order to secure orders or had it been iddm it would have been doing trials of Mars now.Hawkeye SRT 105 mm is from the Mandus Group - tech partner of Kalyani whose 105 mm howitzer owes a lot to SRT developed by Mandus.
In other words it's the same thing as Garuda 105 mm howitzer.
I think the vehicle platform is different we don't know yet which one it is. I initially thoughts it's mahindra amlv platform.Kalyani tied up with AM General and Mandus to make the Garuda 105 in the first place. Hawkeye and Garuda are the same thing more or less.
It's a Humvee chassis man, that's where AM General comes in.I think the vehicle platform is different we don't know yet which one it is. I initially thoughts it's mahindra amlv platform.
Is there indian chassis avalibleIt's a Humvee chassis man, that's where AM General comes in.
The trails design may not be as significant as you might think .people are laughing in reactions, but reminder, my teligram goyz i mentioned in past regd 155mm artillery things, some of them called this design more stable and functional than Garuda V2because of those movable trails-spades whatever it's called around the platform, while Garuda V2 has fixed ones in vertical at front
Kalyani could adopt this feature on Garuda V3 perhaps
understandable, agreedThe trails design may not be as significant as you might think .
Even the korean one has a much more functional trails design .. notice how the hydraulics push the spades into the soil as opposed to kalyanis that merely raises the vehicle off its rear wheels so as to spare the suspension the shock of the recoil. However the USP of the kalyani system is the Israeli soft recoil system that makes all this spade/trail business irrelevant
on a sidenote, this reminds me of that AK-630 CIWS put on a truck somehowThis is the OFB one... feeling like vomitinglooking at it... saalon ko laaj sharm mar gaya hai... how do they even dare to bring out such shit with confidence.

these kind of people will put a 9mm pistol into a assault rifle frame, for sTaBiLiTy , that trailer should be able to carry 2 of those 105mm guns.people are laughing in reactions, but reminder, my teligram goyz i mentioned in past regd 155mm artillery things, some of them called this design more stable and functional than Garuda V2because of those movable trails-spades whatever it's called around the platform, while Garuda V2 has fixed ones in vertical at front

*ahem* yeah this EXACT pic was focus of the discussion where my esteemed teligram fauj frens criticised this arrangement of front fixed trails, they never called out rear movable-adjustable trails much, but their point was that front ones should also have been made like rear ones
Those are not *fixed* in a sense of non movable*ahem* yeah this EXACT pic was focus of the discussion where my esteemed teligram fauj frens criticised this arrangement of front fixed trails, they never called out rear movable-adjustable trails much, but their point was that front ones should also have been made like rear ones
