however mounting a 30×165mm gun on tanks and other ground vehicles is going to be very problematic (those guns will weigh over 150kg + not to mention the weight of the RCWS)
Even 30×113mm are really heavy in that regard (XM 914 weighs 80kg and has very high recoil) we need something even lighter something with energy levels similar to 20mm rounds.
So may I recommend to revive predecessor of the modern 30×113 the 30×86mm ADEN low velocity calibre by the Brits.
The resulting gun would be extremely light (similar to M621 basically under 50kg), the ammo would be lighter too, will have no problem using programmable airburst ammo (unlike 25 or 20mm rounds), and will have much less recoil compared to 30×113mm
So overall a win win the only downside would be the range due to the lower velocity
