It's actually my home district. The situation is very critical tbh. The demography has changed to the point that it's can not be saved. Police are just Dud. Even the DM don't order the police to get involved for appeasement purpose or may be out of fear. The main industrial area of Malda is filled with them. You will hardly find any Hindus. They're Just too many in numbers.

Don't underestimate the Hindus here. Lower caste Hindus are more rogue here. They're mostly unapologetic & celebrate in the wide open.
During last Durga Puja some Muslims were forcefully stuffed in a club & beaten black & blue. Some were turned handicapped. That's how we deal here. Hindus come out with swords & all. Even some TMC local councillors & their minions are more rogue Hindus then Bajrang Dal or UP loonies you see.
Remember Dulal Sarkar, the TMC councillor who died by getting shot a few days ago & stupid right wings were celebrating. He didn't let any Muslim enter in his constituency for the last 30 years & he was a legit pro development fella. He heavily invested in Durga Puja & all each year. All land hoarders & Dalas are specifically advised to not sell lands to Mullahs. The whole constituency is almost Mullah free even to this day. Even pro BJP fellas in his constituency shed tears for him.
TMC is random crapola.
Wherever there are Muslim councillors, the issues mostly arise there. In those places Muslims are generally over 50%. Hindus can't do shit. They're the most nearby constituencies to the border. As a result the demography has changed. Arming them with guns is a good option or teaching them to fight but it's unrealistic. They will outnumber you in every possible way.
The only option is to handover the law & order to the BSF in those border areas. Things will change instantly. BSF is the reason those areas still haven't turned into a warzone.
