Nyet. never. I aint sticking around to see sanatan finally break its historical record of non-slaver. Whatever else we are, our core identity recognizes base human freedom to exclude slavery and that is a lakshamrekha we should never even consider crossing, imo- there are far better ways to deal with scenarios than the poison-pill of slavery.
Put it this way, i can see myself shooting people dead, but i will never ever suffer having a slave. and if push comes to shove, i can also see myself shooting people to keep that going. So thats a hard-pass for me.
Slavery is not actually a human univeral phenomenon, its got a 'continental scale' to it but also specific - europe+central Asia+MENA (minus Iran- one of the GREATEST things about the zoroastrian iranians was that they never kept slaves- yes, they took war captives and did brutal things to them, but they didnt buy and sell people for coin and specifically hated that savage practice of the greeks and rooted it out of the Achaemenid empire - which came back with alex + succesors, but AGAIN wiped out by the Parthians in regions under their control.
Regions outside of it, actually show little to ZERO historical evidence of slave trade. Westerners + arabs hate this fact, so they often try to mis-quote chinese and indian texts on things like bonded labourers ( serfs- you just cant leave your district but you aint a slave, you can do whatever u wish except move around the country) or war captives as 'slaves'- which technically speaking then means everyone still has slavery and nothng changed for murrica and blacks since civil war...see how this is circular logic of the westerners ?
Anyways, i digress, this is a simple historical fact anyone can check out if they look deep into it: the abovementioned region is the 'slaver belt' of humanity and pretty much all types of slave trade elsewhere is due to people from this part ( europeans, arabs, mongols, etc) going and living outside this zone ( india, china, etc) and bringing this practice with them, then this practice dying out again once natives of the land take power. Lets not earn that stain on sanatan by breaking the record of never being a slaver in historical record and shaming our ancestors.
