It has been speculated long ago that some of the 8 Yuan class submarines China's building for Paxtan would have facilities for launching SLBMs much like Israel does - housing N tipped SLBMs in a Diesel Electric Submarine instead of a N propelled submarine.
A conventional submarine would have long enough submerge time and long enough range SLCM/SLBM?
If it follows the bastion principle & hugs the coast why not ? The Israelis have been following the same principle for the past 2 decades at least if not more.
Wonder if this is something Pakis themselves are cooking up. Why would India enter PoK when locals in PoK are protesting against Paki military.

how can u launch a ballistic missile from a submarine, which hv no VLS (vertical launch system), just like south korean chango class 3600 ton displacement diesel submarine......ballistic missiles is very huge (8-10+ meter height), even we cant fire 6 meter height proper cruise missiles from submarine torpedo tubes. chinese hangor class submarine will launch lesser range (400-500 km) pakistani babar 3 series cruise missiles (nuclear tipped) from its submarine tubes, but not SLBM. coz VLS isnt present in chinese hangor class nd its upgraded version of yuan class.
I am asking how a sub 600 km range SLCM on a conventional submarine is credible enough break India's shield in enough meantime without a counter action.
What makes you think if the Chinese are building them 8 submarines with a BM launch capacity in some of them they won't give them an adequate reach BM or CM to go with it ?
