Most of these countries think having fancy airport with glass windows is sign of progress and it will make them a developed nations, they have no idea about stuff like academics , industrial policy, logistics network.

Its same in African countries , all airports gathering dust. Stuff like solid rail network would be much better for cargo shipments passenger and freights, but since that's no flashy, they don't want that.
