Failed Terrorist State of Pakistan: Idiotic Musings

Look at China's budget, funding & look at India's. It all depends on the economy. India can't be China overnight. We've missed the boat for decades, not all of a sudden.
In context of other developing countries India is definitely doing good & better each year. In fact India has been spending on R&D like never before. Look at India's improvement in innovation index in the last few years. India is just blowing.
another thing academic research is positive feedback loop system , talented experienced people help and create more talented and experienced people, once you have a substantial number of researchers and experts in a field you can then make exponential progress in that field. A big part of academic sector is support structure and human capital. both of those require a large base of both amateurs and experts, industry support is another thing too.

Good to know. I will check these out. Last 4-5 years I was not much into these.
But where we are seeing these technologically in India? Which fields? For example, technological and cutting edge products?

radar and recon tech is area where we have made huge progress , it doesn't show up much cause these aren't something which public interacts directly, we're pretty much self sufficient in radar tech.

keep in mind that not all research necessarily ends in creation of some product for general consumer use.
research for finding something new and creating a popular product are two hugely different things. china has a lot of research in digital electronics and industrial machines, but most them are not product meant for general consumers.

How well these people using Indian insecurity and superiority complex and earning really good. 😂🤣
They are getting lakhs of views in a day. Smart people they are!
Can we think about similar comparison with others especially like China in every other sports items? Iron.
Indian advancement stars there end ends there itself.
Meanwhile just check how much research papers bring published from China every year!

Calculators are only better at mixing what's already known. For all their Olympiads winning in Maths and Science, how many Fields Medals do Chinks won? How many Nobels? The are best at munching things whether Books Or Papers Or Bats and not so in actual path breaking things.

pls tell me ur joking
No, we can discuss the pros and cons. I believe India's room to maneuver is going to diminish with time, we will have to lose something, or give them something.
An airbase in J&K will not only cool some steam off us, give us some more time, but it will help take our relations with US to the next step(which frankly requires a big leap of faith from both sides)
If Chinese base can come to Gwadar, a US base can come to China's border as well.
Trump is also very eager to get Bagram airbase back

What India needs the most rn is 2 decades of uninterrupted growth, everything else will fall in order. How we achieve that in such an uncertain climate is the most pressing concern, to allay this constant push and pull that will happen after every change in US government, a base can buy us that time.

If china can come to gwadar then, USA can come to mumbai, no need to take them to kashmir. having us base isn't sure shot way to have growth for a country like India.
