Russian Ukrainian War

Avatar writes that from the USA - that's enough for me. I am not a border guard at the border.
@Corvus Splendens, a 105-mm gun with new ammunition is capable of fighting third-generation tanks. But in our war, a tank is used as a mobile firing point.
Let them try, but I'm very skeptical about this, because Kharkiv tank builders are developing a new turret with a 120-mm gun for the Leo-1.
Gun isn't the problem. The Cockerill turret is sitting too tall. It has very good opticals granted. But it can't tank a 125mm frontally. Investing in hard-kill APS seems to be a good idea right now. Unless the 3105 is being operated remotely here. Then it's a pretty good deal with a rack autoloader and blowout panels.

At the beginning you were skeptical about how it can fight third-generation tanks. Now you say that the problem is not in the gun. In this war, although thousands of tanks are involved, there are no epic tank battles (a la Prokhorovka or Dubno). The first one to notice - wins. Have you seen the video of Bradley destroying a T-90M?
I repeat: Let them try. Any company wants to have the "Battlefield tested" label. This is not for upgrading Ukrainian Leo-1. Our military is quite satisfied with the EMES 18 fire control system. This is for upgrading older versions of the Leo-1 or even the Spanish M60A3. They are no longer in service, but have not yet been destroyed.

Clear footage of an attack by a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber with three FAB-500 aerial bombs equipped with UMPK modules. The strike with Russian FAB-500 bombs was carried out on a Ukrainian hangar with military equipment in the Kherson direction. The exact location of the shooting is not reported. The video also shows an explosion in the hangar, presumably of some equipment.

What they need is soldiers, but Zelensky wasted soldiers attacking Russia. What a tragic waste of men. They can't replace these men. Somebody should have told that to that idiot comedian.
He was going for sensational effect of claiming "Ukraine could invade Russia". Ukraine from the very beginning has been more interested in theatrics than substance.

Concealment matters. And the new profile is quite tall for it's low frontal protection. Those ODS Bradleys are better armored than this Leo-Cockerill mashup. I never said the gun was bad even in my original post. In fact the Indian Zorawar light tank is using the same 3105 turret and high pressure 105mm gun. But the Zorawar is still lower in height. And the tanks the Zorawar might face (light armored Type 96s and Type 15 light tanks) and the wide open terrain, it's boils down to shoot first. But the Russians have started mounting heavy ERA on their tanks. 1HK probability for the 105mm HP gun get lowered in this scenario, although it can engage faster, reload fast, and is more accurate. What I'm trying to say here, is that the Leos will have a much more restricted use case than a T-90MS. So in a pinch the user might try to get more out of the tank, that the tank may not be suited to. That's all.
