Your height is optimum for India.
The average height here was 165 cm some 10 years ago.

A height of 185 to 190 cm is considered tall in west.

Meat consumption does help like in the case or Kerela.
Bengal is somehow an exception. It's probably the 10 million kangaladeshi bringing the average down.
I am almost 6 ft same as you I am called all sorts of name due to my height by all most every one around me but they doesnt affect me i am proud of it
 
188 cm 71 kgs
i went down from 83 to 68 i just one sem .
i am in starved condition rn , its been 2 days since i last ate a full meal ....
will do stuff for good home food .

Beware of this way of loosing weight. Will trigger an binge eating phase. Encountered this during my college days. Reduced 8Kgs in just 40-50 days by extreme dieting. Only steamed veggies, food etc.

Then gain faster in matter of months. Try to go with an sustainable diet rather than switching to extremes. Problem is body adapts to extremes over a period of time. Then how will you reduce? Further extreme measures?

Go easy on your body and diet.

Gym is important for muscle mass which helps in reducing also i would suggest adding a fun activity which burns calorie and which you like.

Some like cycling or swimming…i like hiking and long walks..i dont like running at all…cycling is fun too.

So pick a hobby of any such activity.

I go for occasional walk of 4kms. Need to start again soon. This week is cyclone in Chennai and chill temperature here.

Don't know the quality of data here.

I am seeing a lot of 6feeters in TN very commonly. My Juniors average height is 6fts. Except girls in TN is still small due to shit all diets. But boys were getting tallers over generation.

All the southern, western, Northern regions will going to have tallest guys.

Jokes on you Eastern guys.
 
90 minutes, if I really push it then maybe 70, but no less
I have hit a plateau at 10, also couldn't do running for the past few weeks cause I got pre-occupied
10 km running daily is something really incredible. An average person would hardly do 3 kms.
I personally do 5 km in 45 to 50 Mins with 70 walking and 30% running.
 
If you guys are struggling with meal preparation and pricing than I have a few suggestions.

>buy air fryer.
>keep frozen chicken in fridge if possible. This will save you from going to market and bring down the prices as well.
>eat 3 to 4 eggs daily in breakfast. That's 18 to 24 g protein at the start of the day, if causes digestion issue than keep it to 2.
>don't fucking eat overpriced apple use guava instead. 3 g protein per 100 g, it's more than any fruit. Apple is operated apano desi Guava.
> buy non veg snacks from Tata Sampan. Easy 15 g protein in a single snack.
> if vegetarian than eat 50 g roasted chana or peanuts or a mix of both.
>potatoes are good don't avoid it and don't oversose either.
> buy low fat panner. Costs that same and you can digest it easily, it's just hard to get.
Regular paneer contains an equivalent of 10 tablespoon of ghee.
I eat 200 gm panner and get about 40 gm protein about 30% of daily requirements but also get 50 gm fats which is 70% of daily requirement. It makes me feel bloated and causes indigestion for the entire day.
>Use Tofu it is easier to digest and way less carbs but don't eat everyday, twice a week is good.
> Eat basi reheated rice and roti.

I was 108 kg in Jan 2023. Reduced by 20 kg to 88 kg by Sep 2023. Then started heavy Gym and full protein diet for both me and my wife. We did it for 3 months and both were in the best fitness of our lives.

Then my wife conceived our daughter( 1st child) and she stopped exercise. I reduced my intensity in order to have spare energy to take care of her and any emergencies.

She gave birth in Sep 2023, Natural delivery. She had a 13 hour labour. My wife attributed her ability to power through the pains because of the heavy workouts we did. The Doctor actually praised her exercise routine. She was doing full body weight squats till the day before she gave birth. I am proud of her. She is already back to her pre pregnancy weight and the entire thing was because of the increase in muscle mass causing better metabolism.

I know its not a sexy, ' get jacked, get girls' story but I am proud of what we were able to achieve.

We actually started our exercise and weight loss routine originally because we had difficulty conceiving. If you guys are interested in the whole process and the lessons I learned from it I can do that. Especially because of the recent trends of people having trouble having children.

108 to 70, that's friggin awesome, way to go brother
I struggled for barely over 10 KGs reduction in weight, at the end I had to resort to Lacilacton for dehydration
 
I am from J&K and i am not the tallest there as shown in the Map also..

But one thing i saw…Swimming really helps gain height.

I was around 170 in high school and my parents were like you are gonna be the shortest in our family.

But i gained around 10 cms in the next 8 years thanks to swimming.

Same I'm from j&k also but I believe hieght is usually dependent upon family genetics (yes it depends upon ethnicity too). Like my bloodline is pretty tall.. 5'9-5'10+ on avg in males
My dad is 5'11 and mom is 5'9. No wonder I was 172 in 8th class itself but I have been skinny all my life lol
