Imo, optimizing games requires a significant investment of both time and money. Many publishers choose to release games in an unfinished or unoptimized state to maximize profits early, with plans to fix performance issues later, similar to how dlcs were handled in the past. This strategy is largely driven by the increasing cost of game development and the desire for quick returns. Many of these companies are publicly traded, which means they have a huge obligation to maximize shareholder wealth. If they delay the release too much or spend too much time optimizing, their stock prices could take a hit. As a result, they’re often pushed by upper management to release games as quickly as possible, with the promise of fixes to come.![]()

Check the system requirements. Can I Run it? Test your specs and rate your gaming PC.www.systemrequirementslab.com
why these guys are making hard for PC gamers to enjoy games , even long awaited indiana jones was too needy in terms of requirements.

Still remember Cyberpunk requiring insane specs. Only to get released with bugs and screwed up whoever purchased. Just greed to push everyone to buy top spec systems since more profit for other companies.
*ahem* even FromSoftware is ~15 percent owned by Tencent holdings, and it's a japanese company so still susceptible to DEI ESG woke things, not sure if it's happened yet / happening with any future game by themThis is why Fromsoftware is peak, they've released good games back to back, without disappointment
I don't think fromsoftware is going anywhere in that direction. Miyazaki is way too upright to do that. He refused to make a new Bloodborne game even though the previous one was successful, because he doesn't wish to make a new one purely for profits and doesn't have any plans to make a plot for it. It hasn't happened in the past and never will in the future because fromsoftware games are very dark, lore heavy plots. No scope for DEI stuff even if forced.yeah i remember this website, but it's not always correct with their assessments, when Max Payne 3 was released it shown my computer cannot run it over incompatible processor thing, but i installed it anyways and found it works just flawlesslyeven finished it good 2-3 times
when Batman: Arkham Knight was released for PC it was a mess of its own class, it became so notoriously unstable that Steam had to offer refunds within hours of its launch - but gradually they optimised it properly for PC and rereleased it - alas too late because the bad press it received from PC release...though through these years it's slowly gathered cult classic status among gamers as whatever came afterwards that game was either irrelevant, or just full of cheap DEI ESG Woke crap , cue that recent 'Suicide Squad' game

but one after other studios companies dealing with Tencent are folding or bending over to them for further owning of their stakes to stay afloat, makes me suspect if it's them doing everything by pushing for DEI ESG Sweet Baby woke bakchodiya
