Germany

Like all other European countries if you have a take home pay of 5,000 Euros then you can live a good life. But not many jobs pay those amount of money. I liked Germany in fact. But the salaries are not that great. In addition to much touted free healthcare which comes at a great cost. The waiting periods are longer. They say they need talented people from abroad. But when they come they treat them terribly. A German recruiter who reached out to me years ago said many German companies want only Germans. If they don't get Germans then someone in the EU. This is for high level positions in IT. He bemoaned how German companies are missing out on lot of talent from non-EU because of their stubbornness.

With energy crisis and demographic challenge they can't be competitive for too long. Only problem is if Germany falls entire EU project might be in jeopardy. And with that fall of Euro as a currency. They were and still the stabilizing force in EU. If they don't deport refugees who are simply collecting welfare checks and put a red carpet for skilled talent then we might see downfall of German economy by 2040.
Once the US is sorted out one way or another after it's confrontation with China over Taiwan it's imperative from our PoV Europe as represented by the EU doesn't replace it.

Germany's economic issues mostly self created takes its economy down & that of the EU . Then we have the emigration issues , full of unwanted parasitic immigrants from a different value system - a ticking time bomb in the future.

The west has had its time under the sun for a full half a millenium. It's time for them to retreat into the shadows.

Germs media in a nutshell.

Anyone who don't toe americ*nt puppet govt line is just Russian.
Because in Germs-many It's easier for political elites to blame everything on a Russian boogeyman than to confront their own shortcomings.

According to them Putin has weaponized German elections.

Pro Ukr Goebbels media now hate democracy, and German citizens for not toeing US line.🤣

Volkswagen to shut down EV plant in Belgium...
Their EV policy has been shit from the start. Too costly for the people here, Chinese competition, and dwindling demand after being shoved down our throats by the govt has lead to this. When the subsidy was still in play, they sold some but after they removed it, no one cares about it anymore.
Bunch of Green clowns in the govt. Now HVAC and renewables are being forced!

Folks you need to put a little more research into articles that you will be posting here. There are a lot of irregularities and sensationalism in the posts that are being made here.
We don't want to come out as retarded pakis that parrot and bad news happening please do some research on the subject your posting.

Your sentiment are right just need correct articulation.

Germany has done really well in renewable energy in past decade.
Of course the crusade against Nuclear is unreasonable and we have to be sure that the renewable push isn't just bankrolled by policy and is self sustainable.

Just for your information, installed capacity is not equal to power production. Your chart says installed capacity in GW i.e., Gigawatts. You can install however big Solar power plants but if they are not generating power then it is of no use. Installing 1 GW of Solar power plant in Germany and 1 GW in India is not the same. Since India has 300 days of sunshine it is more likely to produce more electricity compared to Germany where lot of sunshine is only from June till August. Rest of the time it is not generating much power. Better chart which shows the reality is power generation that will be in the form of GWh which is the unit of energy.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Here's the production.

Does that cover our question.

great point, so what do these numbers look like?
dividing generation by installed capacity should give an idea on production efficiency in both countries.

ok, got it. this may not be accurate, but gives a rough idea.
almost 50% lower production efficiency per Gwh installed capacity.

India : 113.41 Twh from 73 Gwh - 1.55 Twh/Gwh
Germany : 61.11 Twh from 81 Gwh - 0.75 Twh/Gwh

Wind farms are covering up for the solar grid. I remember reading comments on various SM that citizens were not happy with solar farms, instead wanted to use that money in windfarms , because they produce more constantly.

Also their total production fell by 20% from 2018 yet their export grew very rapidly in between. It's astoundingly very efficient industrialised country.

I believe it is GW. Gigawatt(GW), Kilowatt(KW), Megawatt(MW), Terawatt(TW) - unit of power.

Gigawatt hour(GWh), Kilowatt hour(KWh), ...... - unit of energy.

So India has less installation of solar than Germany by 8GW by capacity yet generates 50% more Solar energy than Germany. In the coming years with more efficient solar panels we might see solar generation increase with every Gigawatt installed.

So this can be attributed to our ample sunlight?

Mudis push for solar make sense tbh now

Volkswagen to shut down EV plant in Belgium...

European Car manufacturers were struggling with EV Prices. BYD alone is able to trade blows with an Volkswagen to even BMW, Audi with their product lineup.

They are just trying to use Chinese EV Architecture to reduce cost. Missed opportunity for homegrown car makers of TATA and Mahindra. Can easily do good sales in Eastern European countries where your competitor is Dacia, Renault, Skoda. Both of our guys have decent products with Tata and simply better products with Mahindra.
