SAFRAN already mastered 2100°C. There were 2 R&D efforts, at least, to do so : Turennes 1 and 2.As of now only the US has officially mastered material tech permitting TET > 2100°C . From what I understand the French are now developing / testing this tech .
The goal for the SCAF jet is to have an engine that works somewhere between 2100 and 2200°
