As much as the LPC it's the NDP too which needs to be cut down to size. They've elected a person as their party president who puts the needs of his own people ahead of the party's interests & that includes cultivating inimical ties with a friendly nation.

It's a textbook example of importing immigrants & their politics into a foreign land & letting their preferences dictate not only your party's policies but also your foreign policy.

I doubt even the US with its huge population of the Irish at the height of the Irish Independence movement & later during the "Troubles" period in Northern Ireland ever saw their political parties subverted or these kind of policies at work with the UK.

Indeed shade dada something is not right here. Even if it was post Haryana election thing (if BJP lost) still. What exactly they are going to achieve here.

Something behind the scenes is going on. Common public is unaware of it. Could be Muudy daddu is playing another 56d chess where he will flush out these terrorists in some kind of way so they are drawing a line saying enough that's too far.

And btw your dp is hurting our eyes. Use something more recent and appropriate under the current circumstances.

Since 1987 conservatives have never won British Columbia state election, it alternates between Liberals (Turdeau) and NDP (Hagmeet, although regional leaders are not that retarded). Even in 1987 it was a regional conservative party called "Social Credit" and not national conservatives that won.

So, in a way its like Kerala, where left and center-left wins forever. Conservatives coming this close is huge deal. Its like if BJP won state election in Kerala.

Also, Jagmeet is neck and neck in his constituency in polls for next years parliamentary elections.

if our MSM were really fully into it, they would apply the same tactics on canada what western nations apply on us i.e bring out the nasty data points and keep a spot light on cleavages that exist within canadian society.

ex:
- crime rate in BC,
- lax immigration policy in canada,
- growing resentment against brown skins,
- various separatist movements in canada
- history of gangs and gang violence
- opioid crisis
etc.

instead our media is just relying on he said she said.

This is the correct assessment, US wants to make us another vassal, Ukraine style so we can be thrown against the Chinku.
Chinku perhaps sees us are more of a threat in the current "neutral power" state than as a US vassal, perhaps that makes India more predicatable?
Or perhaps the Chinku has some type of leverage with Cong and the other parties, therefore on their side the calculation is that India will be weakened but they can avoid India turning into a US vassal complete with US bases close to Tibet.

Basically both agree on cutting India down to size but the desired "end state" of India differs between US and Chinku for obvious reasons

Unrelated but the INC is a left wing party and has been drifting far left for the past few years. Probably further to the left than the incumbent commies themselves atm...

if Indians are willing to spend a few hundred million $ a year for focussed lobbying in DC and Newyork, India too will get the same protection and support from murican govt that qatar and china gets.

it's all a well oiled business machine for them.

I don't think so. India's too important from one perspective & unimportant from another perspective for the deep state to be swayed from its current tactics.

Qatar & China tried different strategies & while the former tied itself to the US's apron strings offering itself as an alternative to the KSA led Arab coalition which triggered a frenzied response from the KSA led Arab coalition towards Qatar around 2015 or thereabouts & brought about the first big rupture in their relationship with the US especially with the Democratic Party begining with Obummer & followed by Biden , those billions of dollars in outreach was essentially to the media & the academia there.

China's got Wall Street in its pockets & big mfg . That's a totally different segment pleading their case & the most influential such that during Obummer's presidency when he was pursuing the G2 option with the blessings of two of the most influential natsec pandits then , Brzezinsky & Kissinger , both former NSAs , Biden the then VP was actually known as China Joe for his son's deep involvement with the Chinese & Biden's espousal of Chinese interests.

It's truly a miracle they woke up at all & for that credit is due to that maverick Trump & his team.
