India cant wait for AMCA and Kaveri both of which are under PSU(which are definitely not merit based institutions)

SU57 is our only chance to get a plane good enough with frontal stealth to evade radars and fire its payload unlike Rafales which when loaded with weapons will show up on radars

Purchasing Su 57 makes sense as a stop gap 5th gen fighter. IAF desperately need fighters and with dwindling squadrons strength we can’t keep hoping on Tejas MK2 and AMCA which are on paper.
Su 57 gives teeth to IAF against adversaries and also breathing space for our AMCA program which is decade away. We can learn from Su 57 in inventory and implement in our AMCA. Buy 1-2 squadrons more Rafale and 4 squadrons of Su 57 and keep head down work on producing MK2 in numbers

Any Su57 offer from Russians should start with reimbursing our ₹270 millions paid for FGFA, (with interest)

The only benefit of such news is for bargaining or making Orange Man upset

I mean we got them for the fuselage manufacturing deal so it is possible.

There are articles out dassault are going to manufacture wings as well with TASL in India. French are next level exploiters they have a backlog and sitting on it not loosing a sleep if we go with Su 57 or F35. They know IAF has 36 Rafales which isn’t sufficient and we have already built huge infra for 4 squadrons of rafales. Also navy bought 26 which gives them leverage to charge us as per their will. They will charge exorbitant prices to integrate our weapons eventually after delaying as much as possible or after selling prescribed amount of meteors.

WTF. Dude there was no ego. Indian airforce was not satisfied with FGFA parameters and performance and Russians were being ahole by not given us agreed-upon work share. We invested a lot in this program but as usual russian tried underhanded tactics to deny our workshare.

At least read before you type here. And what is wrong with making your own fighter. Should India keep importing aircraft when we can build one ourselves. Don't be such a simp that you start bad mouthing your own countries efforts.

As i said before first let GOI officially announce any deal with ruusia for SU 57. Right now its all a speculation based on a unnamed cnbc source.

Yes, Su-57 is foolishness at this point for many reasons.
but then if the Amerisharts are adamant on fucking us viz engines etc we must also flip the bird back.

As it is in non-military they want to fuck us with Tareefs, knowing that domestic agricultural and related market is sacred and will not be ((( opened up ))) to imports.

I'm sure GE will have problems with engines in the near future or maybe some Tareefs and export controls will be applied.
