Guys, can we use the Byelka( su57 ) or Zhuk AESA( mig35 ) radars on our MKIs?
Just as a fallback assuming Uttam for MKI is delayed?

Any other aesa radars we can buy from 5 places and integrate?

imo main things are
>2-3 sqdrns Rafale purchase
>Get super sukhoi upgrade done quickly
>Get AMCA in service quickly.

Uttam Radar completed development/User trials. In fact we can install Uttam radar from 20th Tejas MK1A itself instead of original 40 since they are done considering any delay.

How the heck Indian private company built a AESA radar on their own? What am I missing here? Is the Radar ready? I am wondering who are their backers. This is not something private Indian company will get into without sufficient guarantees that their product is given a chance to be used in armed forces.

Apparently few DcPP partners were building their own fork from DRDO Tech transfer. Example VEM ATGM is basically coming from MPATGM/NAG development. Simlarly Radar DcPP now coming up with their own forks.

2030 timeline doesn't look realistic for 350km range varient. They are yet to test 150km version.

Even if we have surplus air defence it can be kept stored and replaced in case of loss of aan active air defence .

I think this is goli for Russia to deliver the 2 remaining S400 regiments soon. If new ones are ordered now, I don't see them coming before 2030 at the earliest. Whenever Ukraine war stops, much of Russian defense forces would need to be rebuilt and reconstituted.

Indeed, it is to be inducted from 2030.
But getting all squadrons inducted, setup, personal trained will take till 2035+.

In S400s case personal training and set up is already done.
3 extra units all can be delivered and set up by 2033 at late.

From 2030 onwards, kusha will begin its delivery.

SU30SM2 is the next version of the Russian SU30SM which was itself the Russian version of the SU30MKI without western stuff.

SU30SM2 will have twice has powerful radar.
Titanium is used in engine tunnel of the frame vs Aluminum of the older SU30SM.
Gets same engine as the SU35
Gets new ground weapons, possibly a improved targeting pod.
New software.
More bays under the cockpit to house new electronics subsystems for avionics.

Even if burgericans stops engines completely, we can pump in upgraded su30mki .

This F35 looks like an nightmare, an million dollar EW System constantly sensing everything in its vicinity. Also apparently UK CBG travelled in N-S Direction along the India which according to Saurav Jha is not a good friendly behavior.

I think this is some kind of geopolitical carrot and stick drama going behind the scene. And I wouldn't be surprised if we don't purchase more S-400. DRDO can make it but Kusha will take its sweet time though. It will go to production only around 2029-30. S-500 is unnecessary because we already have our own BMD close to deployment.

I don't think this will materialize because by the time S-500 arrives we would have our own Phase-2 BMD and Kusha deployed in certain amount. But ig, the government thinks more options for same purpose are good.

He took it to a local electronics repair shop, had it disassembled, and replaced the original avionics with a custom system built using a Raspberry Pi. He mounted it inside the drone using some 3D-printed parts and managed to fly it using his laptop as a controller, connected to the internet. So maybe these things aren’t as high-tech as we’re led to believe.

It's not saar, these drones are rc plane pro plus max with explosive warhead or payload and whatever military grade materials used.
