Army replaced majority of foreign breeds with Indian Hounds especially Mudhol hounds' way back in 2016-17.

Not really. EOD dogs have very short Work Life Spans in Human terms. PTSD sets in quick and these are not peace time deployments. 2 years for them is like 14-18 years of being strung out and stressed. If not managed Dementia sets in real quick.
