Can someone shed some light?
Who will be the manufacturer of DRDO MGS. (Mounted Gun System).

The gun is ATAGS and chassis belongs to BEML (Using Tatra engine). Who is the system integrator, Bharat Forge or BEML.

Also sh-15 / PCL 181 has a range 20 with conventional shells ? Seems low

Let's not comfort ourselves with a misquoted number here or there.

It's a fully legit 155 mm 52 cal howitzer, better than our Bofors.

I did an analysis on conventional military strengths of the two nations.

No point counting category by category like this, war doesn't work like that. Effectively what you have done is made a separate 130mm artillery category and shown we have more there - yeah that's because it's outdated and everybody moving towards 155.

They have almost 600 155mm SPH. This will give all our artillery batteries nightmares. They shoot and scoot from a lot close to the border than we can. They are much harder to track and eliminate, even with air power (that's assuming we have air superiority in the first place, big if)

This is a definitive overall artillery edge. The shame is we have indigenously developed options that are better but we chose to sit on our arses.

Also, no consolation that we will have the edge in 5 years. War is gonna happen in the next 2 weeks.

And I wouldn't even blame our bureaucracy at this point. This is 100% on the Army this time.
