You know nothing burb kolkata was extra depraved.
We came to know about a girl who used to be our classmate now works as a high profile call girl.
She moved to Hyd but some guy found her while mongering.
Lots of college girls do side hustle in Spas here and than even get married to unsuspecting dudes. They do all this for what? Some extra cash, Gucci glasses, bags, holidays.

I would pay lakhs to run a baground check on my future wife if I could. Shit is insane bruh, I am literally scared of mairrage.
Not uncommon for college students - even/especially from prestigious ones like NIFT - themselves to moonlight as 'performers' in orchestras/dance bars. It tends to pay quite well and is completely tax free to boot. From there the oldest profession in the world is less than a sideways step, if even that. Aise hi hath mein latest iphone nai a jata hai unke hath mein.

This is what it meant by "Delhi ki hava lagna" in yester years.

It is no longer talked about but there were times when this was one of the biggest taboo or fear about sending your kids to study in Metro cities especially Delhi-NCR.

Have seen crazy things happening in and around DU colleges during 2005-10 era. Girls studying in few Posh Universities around NCR offering services before the Social Media era!

After the college time is over most go back to their home and in few years get married to some random dudes.

yeah...but most of ur colleagues (girls) dont involved in call girl or prostitusion. why u make ur assumption on base of one example??? honestly in my known group boys make more relationship than female. i myself "half virgin😂" in my 19 age. in my state every beautiful girls get frndship offers by many boys, if she is using social media. girls rejected most of boys, unlike boys. who first rarely get offers from girls, but hardly reject if any girl approach him.
so in my experience, its boys who r giving many options to girls😂. so harami boys creating problems for shy, introvert nd simple boys. honestly in this time, i dont think boys should expect a virgin girl for a relationship. she/he should be honest nd loyal after marriage/relationship.
now some will ask me, do u accept a girl which hv dark past (relationship/prostitusion etc). i will say yes, if she is honest nd loyal after relationship. coz think about it, how many boys make relationship before marriage. now girls r doing same thing. unfortunately simple minded, good morals boys/girls r hurting by this.

Brother, Dehat always had this problem. Why do think we had so many songs referring to Khet (farm) like "Ganne ke khet mai" ??
bhai tumhra gaaw bhut advance ho gaya hai😂...humare gaaw ke aas paas ke bhut saare gaawo me agr koi couple ke beech kuch chalta bhi hai, to sabhi aas paas ke gaaw walo ko pata chal jaata hai. fir vo couple gaaw me ek sath bhi nhi dikhte. mummy kasam mene to apne gaawo (including many other villages) me young couple ko ek sath ghumte huwe bhi kabhi nhi dekha (school ke baccho ko chhod ke). ganne ke khet ko to bhool hi jaawo...😂😝

was hoping for a couple of years that this type of non-confrontational round table format is experimented with for Bharat related non-political topics, after some point the monologue/oped/interview format loses it's utility during the journey of discourse on a topic.

in this particular discussion, some rough edges need smoothening like time allocated for Q&A and they couldn't stop themselves from laughing at trudeau(probably SM/whatsapp effect). a bit more professionalism is required.

posting this here, since we need to be aware of the root cause of theories that divide India are coming from.

one way to read what he is saying is that, the reason entire world is being punished by commie intellectuals for past few decades is, because in the universities his lot got envious of the intellectualism of real science wallahs. so they created pseudo sciences and associated language to make themselves feel sem2sem.

so it was fundamental human emotions of envy, which is at the root of all this nonsense.
======
Noam Chomsky on the pseudo intellectualism of postmodern literary theorists.

"If you look at what's happening, I think it's pretty easy to figure out what's going on. I mean, suppose you're a literary scholar at some elite university or an anthropologist or whatever. If you do your work seriously, that's fine, but you don't get any big prizes for it. On the other hand, you take a look over in the rest of the university, and you got these guys in the physics department and the math department, and they have all kind of complicated theories, which, of course, we can't understand, but they they seem to understand them. And they have principles and they deduce complicated things from the principles and they do experiments, and they find either they work or they don't work."

And so that's really impressive stuff, so I want to be like that too. So I want to have a theory in in the humanities, you know, literary criticism, anthropology, and so on. There's a field called 'theory.' We're just like the physicists. They talk incomprehensibly, we can talk incomprehensibly. They have big words, we'll have big words. They draw far reaching conclusions, we'll draw far reaching conclusions. We're just as prestigious as they are.

"Now if they say, well, look, we're doing real science and you guys aren't, that's white male sexist, bourgeois, whatever the answer is. How are we any different from them? Okay. That's appealing."
