i know how VW Group works being an insider as former employee but will they be left with just collecting the dues or govt thinking of making extra moolah by charging 2* interest as fine would make or break this company in india .


The Ex-German Ambassador was moaning about India levying lot of taxes on auto parts.


The same was echoed by his successor as well. German auto companies only wants to do the bare minimum to make profits or get access to new markets. In the case of China, their government wanted any automaker wanting access to Chinese market should tie up with a Chinese partner. I think it is time for us to do the same and not compromise. You want access to our market? Then STFU and build manufacturing and ecosystem here just like you did in China. Or else take a hike. India is becoming a huge market for many car players. We should gradually impose the terms and conditions on auto makers in return for market access.
 
VW is kind of fucked though, there biggest market china is rejecting them more and more in favour of domestic cars.

Chinese are smart if you want to do business here you tie up with local partner and they absorb your know how and you make profits on our cheap labour once they grabbed enough they launched their own brands and kicking ass of all these western brands its happen from Elections to Automobiles like how BYD and MG are even challenging the German Trio in EV segment hands down , How Xiaomi, Huawei and Oppo poopo bla bla sell more phones in china and also across asia and europe

chinese are not as mad lunatic western harpers like brown colonial coolies like us if there is domestic brand which has decent quality they embrace it instead of running for american one

We also had similar set up back then when all Two wheeler brands got the benefit of it

Hero-Honda
TVS-Suzuki
Bajaj-Kawasaki

But our dhando mindset didn't absorb the technology and invest in R&D when all these overseas OEM started their own operations they took the chunk of the market from our Desi dhandoos

Hero still can't master 110cc engine

Bajaj can't get its shit in 150-200cc engine and ended up buying stake in KTM and now building bikes for Triumph

TVS with decades of experience ended up as sweat shop for BMW now in making 300cc motorcycles

Electronic brands like Lava Java don't really create great value for money products , just sell low price phones so buy it type .

the real issues is will our guys absorb the technology faster or will take decades and still like to fit the bolt and screw the nut .

I know exactly what this VW saga is CKD vs SKD for the models specified in the report and then we had the CBU bakchodi for direct imports , i remember exactly in 2011-12 period how parts arrived where not cleared by JNPT customs and how aurangabad plant went to hibernate more for week thanks to this CKD(Completely Knocked Down) vs SKD(Semi Knocked Down) imports confusion with customs

they are never going to break over the 4000-5000 threshold market with very limited models and crazily over priced all the in the name of 5* safety rating will not work for ever , Even maruti which always shied away from talking about Crash test just launched Swift Dzire with 5 Star now what will you do kraut bakchods .

its all about your strategy in specific local market based on what the market wants not what you want to sell to market .

i have no laaavvvvuuuu for the krauts fuck them for all the moral policing they keep doing us but as industry this will be watched by other foreign brands



Hopefully this can be resolved in backend no point fckin up the VW group. Ask them for more investments based settlement.win win scenario

Suzuki is an Access 125.
Kawasaki is an failure in Indian market.

Hero already manufactured the liquid cooled 210cc, 250cc engines now, They already have the 440cc Oil Cooled engine. Their EV with Zero will be fully build in India and will be an India Spec product.

Bajaj before KTM manufactured 220cc Air cooled engines for long time. In fact Bajaj inputs in KTM is much deeper which results in mass market manufacturing of KTM in India. Bajaj is a kind of guy who does not have flashy features but bring an product to affordable level.

NS400Z cost just 2 lakhs. You are getting an 40BHP A2 Bike in this price.

TVS - That 310 block is more and more an TVS engine then BMW engine. The initial state of tune is 33bhp 28NM torque.

The current state of tune is basically in the range of 38Bhp with 29NM of torque. BMW will just take that engine and sell it is their platforms. Incremental job is being done in TVS itself. Already the next 450 CC engine will be made in India as per Rumours.

Our 2W wheeler guys were agile enough to upgrade enough to meet the world markets. There is a reason this segments stands tall for decade. We are going to sell bikes in Europe now. TVS, Hero is entering. Bajaj will soon follow the trend if KTM fuck around.

Only in last 2 years we are seeing Chinese manufacturers even the primary one is CF moto who is an tech partner for KTM. Their 500cc were KTM 450 block which was planned for India but later shutdown. (Since it is an A2 segment and we already have 399cc block).

We have RE with 350cc, 440cc, 650cc and 450cc Liquid cooled engines. 750cc on the work.

Chinese manufacturers were targeting Euro brands in Middle weight segment. (500-800). Our market is still not in that phase. When we reach we will see the next change from our Bike Companies. Because India is still the largest two wheeler market in the world. Middle weight segment may arrive in this decade.

because our administration always act like who ever is caught in our circle lets milk their every single drop of blood , same like how they treat salaried middle class tax players .

Bajaj the second biggest indian brand put together all its offering is not able to match half of Honda sales

are you RE premi then i am not going to break my head as i hate RE and its offerings

Chinese two wheelers are shit they are not getting the traction like what their four wheeler cousins are getting in europe or to an extent in SE Asia only place they may be making some in roads is in Africa where our Bajaj babu plays its games

Honda is a one trick pony with Activa. The brand starts very early and have an reputation. They are surviving with Shine in 125 cc segment. They were utter failure in Premium 125cc segment like the ones from Raider, Xtreme 125R, N125 etc. They are also blown out of 150-500cc segment in India against the Pulsars, Apache, Xtremes, REs. On the same sales the Shine 100 is an utter failure against an Splendor which have the same 100cc.

Their spares were costlier and lot of their offerings have serious problem in BS6 Phase 2. Shine bikes have premature failures.

The point is Honda is an struggling to expand their offerings in Indian Market. They tried and failed royally.

Your dislike of REs does not change the fact they manufacture the engines in India and their 350cc is actually an better engine than Honda's CB series. In fact the fit and finish is much better than Honda ones.

Japanese manufacturers in India are already going extinct with their attitude towards our Indian market.
Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha were simply pushed to an one/two bikes. Kawasaki is nowhere in the picture. The market dynamics were changing and they are simply sitting ducks for long time.
