Using data from This report from IIT kanpur, I recreated the PIE charts , cause the one in the report were pretty hard to read : -

PM10 type pollution : particle diameter less than 10 Micrometer
PM 2.5 type pollution : particle diameter less than 2.5 Micrometer
NOx type Pollution : Nitrogen Oxides







Basically what is shows is most of NCR's pollution issues are internal, without infrastructure to tackle these, no party is going to fix Delhi's issue. General Climate of that region is also in the play here, it goes dry for almost 9 months and all these dust accumulates.

Solid public transport can potentially reduce need for cars and reduce vehicular pollution part but rest need alot of policy planning.

Even without storage systems we have long way to go. Rooftop solar penetration in barely 1% in most cities across nation.

Every middle class house should have 5-10kw solar system in all cities. Combined with electric two wheeler and electric cars. Shall go a long way in stabilizing grid and reducing air pollution in Cities.

Electric cars can also solve storage puzzle for small families since they have a large power bank which can power small house if needed.

Funny how Delhi is the model city for public transport in India and it still has so much pollution. This is someone from Mumbai where people say metro will fix the pollution and traffic issues
