Bihar’s Expressway Revolution: Commuters Will Be Able To Reach Patna From Any Corner Of State In Just 3 Hours
expressway development, along with other infrastructure projects, will involve an investment of Rs 1 lakh crore

The state government has authorized the route planning for the construction of the Patna-Purnia Expressway and the Gorakhpur-Siliguri Expressway. Additionally, the government aims to secure approval for the Raxaul-Haldia route in the coming month. A detailed project report for the Buxar-Bhagalpur via Lakhisarai Expressway is being prepared following its announcement in the Union Budget speech and will be ready soon

construction of a 662 km expressway is currently underway in Bihar, with active land acquisition processes in progress. These projects require an investment of over Rs 55,500 crore. Additionally, the construction of two expressways covering 607 km is estimated to cost Rs 41,760 crore.

This is really bad. Physical mobility means dynamic economy. India's inability to create livable cities will bite in the ass, first with brain drain and now with this.

On the positive side, this will force the labor-intensive companies to relocate to the places which can guarantee greater availability of skilled manpower.

Immobility of the blue collar labor is the blessing in disguise for several North Indian states if they are willing to take advantage of the situation, particularly during the times when there is a trend of rising regionalism and linguistic jingoism in Karnataka and Tamilnadu which is certainly going to drive out fresh investments.

So far, Maharashtra and Gujarat are the prime beneficiaries. Madhya Pradesh can benefit as well because of it's special location.

There is an infrastructure revolution going on in Bihar. No wonder, voters have been handsomely rewarding BJP and it's allies during the recent elections.

A strong infrastructure in Bihar is crucial for the security of Northeast and Bengal. all the airstrips in Bihar were built during the Indo-China War of 1962. more than 70 airstrips in Bihar were constructed during that time.

These idiots will get the money from the center, pocket all of it. The project's costs will escalate like anything and the state will then stop the project halfway. What the public will get is dug roads & pillars that go nowhere
god someone stop this nonsense , break JDU and steal all their MPs now. this is beyond hilarious , how can these idiots think of operating metro when they have 8th century roads(read it , no fkking roads). Whole cities are made up on a single fkking road and that too overly congested and these clowns want to bomb traffic for next 15 years there.... :bplease: :bplease: :bplease: :bplease: :bplease:.

India is not a country where you wait for people and civil infra to improve and then build high ticket items like metros.
Its reverse here - build Metros and then people will upgrade themselves automatically.

All Metro projects were once called white Elephants but now almost every project has started improvement in local infra and ridership.

We spend ~140 Bn usd every year on oil imports....

Why doesn't govt impose some regulation that "By 2047 nearly 90% of vehicles on road should be EV" !

IMO, Energy independence is true independence....

What's status of Lithium mine found found in Jammu ?

we should build Nuclear reactors , battery industry , charging stations & Bullet train routes with those 140 Bn usd

No taker for Lithium mines bid. Will be re-tender.

Nuclear Reactors - NTPC, Tata Power, Jindal Nuclear were all joining the Modular Reactor Bandwagon. So far land scouting is going on.

Battery Industry - Exide, Amaron coming with Li battery manufacturing plant. TATA, Maruti Suzuki also building LI battery plant. With tech support from China man. On construction phase.

EV market is still in nascent stage and price correction is going on. Maybe in next 5 years we will see the shift.

Bullet train- slow progress, but looks like Mum-Del will be first route.
