Indian Economy

This is really bad. Physical mobility means dynamic economy. India's inability to create livable cities will bite in the ass, first with brain drain and now with this.

Problem is all our Tier 1 cities were getting choked due to poor infra expansion. Even I am getting frustated driving in my Main road which supposed to be an 4 lane road with footpath.

Instead it is 1.5 lanes at each end or 1 lane and everything is enchroached as fuck. Also the road is busy with company busses, college bus and choke a thon is real. I am in suburb of Chennai. Interior chennai is pain to drive.

Same scenario across cities.

My hometown is such a breeze. City wakes up by 6 am and sleeps by 10pm. Unfortunately very few big IT firms were moving. Exception is Zoho who wants to have offices in Tier 2 city for better opportunity to local surrounding region.

I'm not sure about Lava, weren't some of there directors or higher-ups arrested for helping chinks , although Gyan therapy doesn't come across as bikau as technical guruji. that incident could be a one off thing tho.

Lava does have some capacity to do their own OEM-style work BUT i still suspect most of their tech and machinery came from Chinese smartphone OEM guys only; rest i wasn't aware of their higher ups getting scrutinised over chinese links, but anyways an incident

so on teligram, there's a friend who's extremely vocal to chinese smartphones and insists that people should buy "Indian" (so called) smartphones instead, instead of sending your money to the chinese who'll eventually fund pakistanis against us in long run...

now i support this sentiment of not giving your money to your enemies, but... 🤷‍♂️ do we even have proper alternative at home?

during covid times and all that border skirmish between us and them, He was spamming about Micromax 'finally making an indian smartphone' and all, perhaps even got one, then when Lava started manufacturing their stuff he bought a Lava stuff too...
I casually inquired why did he ditch Micromax, his response was something in line 'lack of updates' lol
then the Lava model he posted, i just ran reverse google image search to find out that it too was some OEM-ish model by some lesser known chinese manufacturer that they eventually released here - i'm not expert but smartphone chips have some close relation between the chipset used and camera modules used...using those names or numbers one can easily reverse search the origins and often you'll find above 90 percent stuff by these 'Indian' smartphone 'manufacturers' is rebranded maal even in this date 🤷‍♂️

They have some inhouse research for Their stuff, coming to your second point , phone designing is a more of a product design thing than engineering thing, india doesn't have whole alot of people skilled in product designing, they might be using some chinese design firm.

instead of chinese prefer samsung, google, apple etc....for cheaper phones prefer samsung nd lava phones. a indian manufacturer with rebranded maal is far better (not saying in quality, feature etc) than chinese companies phones.
